I didnt fully understand mel's songs when i first started getting into her music (I was like 13). It wasnt until I was like 16 when I discovered the true meanings behind her songs. Im 18 now
Idk if I'm dumb and took years to figure this out or if I just found something new but I noticed that every other line, she starts a new series of words that all have the same letter, going in the same pattern of the alphabet.. and I do believe that it only goes to D Examples: (basically just the first half) A- aiming, airplanes, around B- build, building, blocks, bring C- can, crush, candy, cane, catch, cry D- Dangle, diploma, dead, don't And so on.. I think Melanie just finds words thay begin with letter going in the order of the alphabet. Just a lil smth a picked up.. again idk if anyone else noticed this but I thought it was interesting!
And the thing is I ain't even know why I avoided watching this. At least I made it before 1M views. Kind of feels like all if Melanie Martinez's songs are my theme songs. Literally. Its like Melanie's actually speaking to me. This song sometimes felt 100% accurate to me during my childhood and earlier teenage years. Its just that relatable to me. Who else?
