I have a black Mr. Pen Bible bag that I carry my iPad (which has my Bible, all my reference books, etc in it) to church and Bible study. I have my Apple Pencil, a black Mr. Pen felt tip (although I sometimes toss in a colored one to mix it up), a regular ink pen, a small notepad, Altoids, Kleenex, and a little bag with a few Aleve and Tums, and lip ice.
I carry an old Vera Bradley diaper bag. I keep highlighters, pens, fine tip markers, gum/mints, feminine hygiene, body spray, lotion, sticky notes, notebook, planner, water, bible study booklets. I take this bag everywhere I plan on reading or studying the bible such as doctors appointments or kids activities. I know I can grab it and go and be ready for anything.
I pretty much just keep it to a minimum when I attend church. I just take notes and keep the super in-depth supplies for when I’m at home. Honestly, I haven’t ever used more than two highlighters, 1 pen, 1 notebook, correction tape and my Bible while I’ve been at church.(I do use my phone for additional Bible references if needed). I bring a purse big enough to put my Bible and supplies in, along with my everyday purse items and a 20oz hydro flask bottle. This is what I find works best for me, and not a judgement on others who choose to take more or less items than I do.
Yes I do carry a bag for our bibles and a small purse for my essentials or just in case stuff I/we might need. I use to love taking notes during Sunday school. But now I teach Sunday school to the little kids ❤
Totally agree with you on multiple things: Bible-preaching pastor and taking your Bible to church!! In my church bag, I have my ESV study Bible, Sunday School teacher and student books (my husband is the teacher of our adult class), sermon notes notebook, pens, bookmarks, and extra things!
I have my Bible Study stuff in a Hobonichi Liberty Fabrics Large Drawer Pouch. It's a very nice, expensive, gorgeous piece that makes me so happy. I keep two pens, a sticker book from Happy Planner (rotate it with the one I feel like using that week), a days of the week washi tape, a Hobonichi Hardcover (Hon) Techo in A6 size and a slim A5 traveler's notebook. I keep a separate pencil pouch with my favorite pens/markers and pencil sharpener, twizers, whiteout, etc. with an elastic band to wrap around the pouch for esy portability. BUT, I don't take this to church. I use it only at home for my Bible Study time at home. I used to take all my stuff with me to church and use it during the sermon, but I ended up distracting people and it would take too much time and I could miss the actual sermon. So, I take my tablet - an iPad Pro and the apple pencil. I use Goodnotes and do my sermon notes digitally. I can doodle, I can highlight, I can copy/paste from the YouVersion Bible app and even use digital stickers if I feel like it. But, I stick to just writing in color-coded ways, to be honest. It's way more portable and convenient for me. I even have a separate digital notebook for notes for church activities and the like.
I have a bag that I carry my Bible, notebook, pen, and highlighters in to church. My children also bring their Bibles, notebooks and color pencils. I encourage them to listen to the pastor and write down questions or write something that spoke to them and of course they doodle.
I carry a bag to church.. I have a pen case with all my favorite high lighters..and pens. I carry my Bible of course and my Christian planner that I take notes in.
My church Bible is "Journal the Word NKJV" as that is the translation that my Pastor preaches from. I also have a tote bag that I keep a knit shawl for when the church is cool, as well as my A5 binder. My bible bag has kleenex, pens, markers, highlighter, transparent sticky tabs and hand sanitizer
I take my Bible, which is in a Bible cover with a pen and higlighters, sticky notes. I also have a weekly sermon notebook that fits in my Bible bookcover. Our pastors provide an outline of each sermon.
I usually take a small bible, a pen and one or two little sheets of paper to church, in a tote with other stuff such as quarterly bible lessons book, for example, my reading glasses and my wallet. But, after seeing so many bible bags videos I just purchased one similar to the one you were replacing. I'm willing it arrives so I will try if it works for me or if I keep the usually method.
I take a canvas tote thatchas two pockets on the front . My Bible, a folio thatcholds a legsl pad, glasses cleaner and cloth, my phone, wallet, a small catch all pouch, tissues, and cough drops. I keep two pens in my Bible. And altoids. I try to keep it simple.
I take a bag! I now use my phone as Bible. Hello you Version app😉 I have a notebook and at least two pens. I will highlight the vers in the app and sometimes a quick note there too. But mostly handwritten. I date sermons in notebook , oh and the speaker. Ours rotate. Mr. Pen is cool.
I carry an oversized tote bag (Coach). Inside is a Bible, notepad, two pen cases one for colored pens the other is for highlighters, snacks, personal items, tambourine, flags, streamers, busy bag for my grandchildren and thermos with my coffee. I found your video because I was hoping to get some inspiration and ideas to downsize all of my stuff. Besides my Bible tote I also carry my purse. 😂
yep sure do!! I take a bible bag with my church journaling bible -- highlighters and pens with sticky notes just like you have. I love that you date your notes because I often wonder...Now when was that sermon?
I use those erasable pens ( frixion) and now keep extra refills. Always have pens with bible verses engraved in case I need to lend a pen....and then they can keep it. I have to take my sermon notes in a notebook at church. So, maybe someday a note taking bible .
@@paulan7218 If you pop the bible into the freezer....the writing comes back. I have such PATHETIC handwriting anymore, that I find I erase to make a word more legible for me. Maybe I should use a pencil?
I recently grabbed a Mr. Pen bag. I love how you packed yours. It has everything. I’m typically put my bag in a tote bag with a pouch of the goodies. Now I have to rethink my method. Lol. TFS.
I take my phone with me to church. We meet downstairs. But I like my phone because it's easier to pull up a certain book and verse. For highlighters I just look up Bible Highlighters, I like the gel like ones how do you describe them?
Ok…… I might add, if your going to work in your Bible sit toward the back, I have seen ladies so enthused with writing and planning and decorating their Bibles during the sermon. Other people aren’t listening they’re watching them do that so keep the spirit of God in the church sermon always sit towards the back maybe even with two or three women back in the back that way you won’t be disturbing anyone that’s trying to listen to the preacher cause you have to admit if you see something going on that kind of get your curiosity go on your you’re done lost you’ve done lost on the message but I love them. I’ve got several myself but I only carry regular Bibles and ink pan and a little notebook so when I get home, I can transfer it all over to my colors, my markers, and all the such, I don’t even carry markers to church. I just carry my notepad just an ideal. The whole ideal about this is to bring people to Christ.
wow, never go to a church that people don’t carry their Bible. you know many people use Bibles on their phones just because you need a physical Bible doesn’t mean everyone is wired the same way. Some people would prefer to use a digital Bible.

❤Please do a highlighter review! I absolutely love your set up!

I take my black tote which contains my journal, pen case and Bible with post it notes and some tabs.
I take a notebook for sermon notes and use my bible app on my phone to look up scriptures. Yes to the color swatches, please.

I you too take a three ring binder with notepaper pens and highlighters and my bible in its case

I would love to see the colors of the new highlighters
I’m still using my Illustrated Faith mixed media Bible bag but I too love Mr Pen! Time for an upgrade, TFS! 🖊️📖 💼
Oh that's so funny I literally just bought a new Bible bag from Mr pen and then this video popped up for me

be careful using the frixion pens. I used to use them, but if you leave your Bible out in your car on a few hot days, all of the ink disappears.

Which Bible bag would you have chosen?

What do you bring to church?
Where did you get the set of sticky notes with the sermon notes and flags? That is so cool?
Mr. Pen
It’s in the video notes. It’s a Mr Pen product from Amazon.
I’m getting me an rolling book bag
Nice Bible cover. 😊
I take my phone with me to church. We meet downstairs. But I like my phone because it's easier to pull up a certain book and verse. For highlighters I just look up Bible Highlighters, I like the gel like ones how do you describe them?
I think they are called gel highlighters 💕
I carry a bible bag, with my bible, highlighter, pens, chapstick, tissues, hard candy, and some sticky notes.
Im also a crazy mint lady 😂 I have ✨options✨

Goodness, you probably want children to sit in the back too.

I believe that I mentioned that in the video.
