Interesting that they included massive tyre fenders all around the boat to protect it from damage but you still take damage hitting the dock at less than 1 knot...
Also annoying that you struggle to get off the pontoon when waves drop it down below the bottom of the ramp. The whole point of that design irl is that the ramp rises and falls with the pontoon, always allowing access. But hopefully these things will get ironed out.
I hope they get the waves sorted otherwise it'll just end up like F:NA where everything's calm all the time.
Yeah I agree 100%, still early access so all these things will be worked on for sure.
Nothing wrong with the waves except until upgrade engine you struggle to drive in to them.
Real life we endure these conditions as professional fisherman lol.. i have almost died at sea from huge seas, with quotas and restrictions getting so heavy in Australia we started going out in bad weather just to survive. why i left the industry and went to city for a more 9-5 job as struggled to make any money and i have skippers license and everything
Only issue is the harbour should be more calm as rock walls help with the huge swells. once out it should be huge waves at times.
And yes thast pontoon and walkway always work together no matter how high water is or a bit rough.
a
They should of had no issues with water coming into the boat,They did a good job for FNA
Yeah it will all get fixed along the way :) this was the pre release version still.
Its because of where the game is based in the world for sunrise and sun set
This is alot like Bearing Sea ect , played n finished that one , like the way this one is going .
if they remove one sero from the amont of money you get for the tasks. it would be more realistic. and yes i am from Norway.
Yeah I agree, the money is pretty crazy, but I hope they maybe add a hard mode or hardcore mode later on with less money for tasks.
if this is what they are releasing, they obviously haven't tried playing it.
Hoping they will test properly and they won't do the same as they did for a time in F:NA, where updates were released with major bugs or glitches that even 5 minutes of gameplay would have picked up.
It is early access, not a finished product.
@@TheHomeOfEverythingSimulation i get that. we've both played their previous games though.
I love the idea but the implementation seems very poor. Stupid missions requiring hours of repetition while making you wait in real time to get there is just too tedious. Running back and forth for 1 box 3-10 times over 50+ missions just get a basic fishing vessel seems a bit much. You could choose to be your own company and have boats that do both Cargo and fishing, I love the idea, this is just too much work to be called a game.
It has a long way to go, it is early access. But I agree, starting a company and having vessels do cargo runs would be awesome.
Hi britto port is left side . Starboard is right. Red bouy or marker is port side green is Starboard. Hope this helps I was at sea for 15 years in total if anything you wish to know pls ask😊
Yeah I thought that about the markers and what the colours meant. I'm sure I will forget which side is which though lol
@@TheHomeOfEverythingSimulation My family are pro fishing i been working on pro boats since 10 years old.
Red is port side port side is left. green is starboard and starboard is right side. now all port side and red light and left side has less letters . all right side starboard and green light have more letters. helps remember what is what..
@@TheHomeOfEverythingSimulation And sorry so when travelling in to port keep red marker on port side and green on starboard and opposite when leaving port.
easy when both markers are on either side. if only is one colour marker need to study the map of that area to know what side is safe to travel on..
@@TheHomeOfEverythingSimulation Also i found docking the boats is like real life emersion, not perfect. can't sometimes just drive in to the rectangle and the current wind and waves will push your boat around. sometimes sit in neutral see how wind etc will push your boat. pull up further forward or out further and put in neutral and let waves push the boat in and can do it without crashing and damaging boat. real life we use all these plus engines. some have bow thrusters and port and starboard thrusters to help too.
Sometimes easier to go against waves to berth. sometimes with..
@@TheHomeOfEverythingSimulation Easy enough once you get used to it, Port and Left are the same number of letters. The longer names are the right side of the ship. The reason is Left and right are based on your direction of facing, whereas Port refers always to the Left side of the ship in relation to the Bow (Front). You could confuse left and right but never Port and Starboard.
Ships at sea also known as tetris!
I was never good at tetris hahaha
When transiting inbound, just remember Red Right Returning for the buoys.
Sadly, this title looks to be about 30% or 50% done, and needs another year or two being patched and updated and tested...I'll come back next year and see how this is.
Thats why it is early access. If you want to support the developers and help them along the way, buy the game, send suggestions, bugs and crashes.
@@TheHomeOfEverythingSimulation not a problem, luckily streamers like you give me a chance to see what the state of EA is (since it can vary widly from title to title), so I can decide. thx!
