I think this is a natural progession. You got all these top 0.00001% yt taking most of the payroll/revenue yt makes...its even harder for small yter and some resort to like you said....doing fake / planned food review by resturants....betraying the image/integrity we all knew they once
‘Winner takes all’ is understandable. Still, small youtubers like me needa find other income source. We welcome sponsorships but we do not wanna lose any of our hard-built integrity. Picky us😅
Look at Gordon Ramsey who doesn't need membership channel. Given he has a lot more exporsure to begin with but the bottomline is about personality and quality as well as the content of his videos. Despite the obvious reasons for having a membership channel, many may see that as a put off indeed. Peace.
