Thanks man. You helped me figure out how to line the side of my hair up better. Last time my shit was a straight line lol, now it looks more natural XD.
I'm assuming those dudes are pros at cutting their own hair, which means they are trolls as well. Anyways, it did help me out man, and I'm a rookie. Anyways, I appreciate this video man. Forget what they're saying. This video helped me out a lot, despite what the "pros" claim about it.
Not using the handheld mirror on my corners is probably what's messing me up. I will.try that and hope this next cut comes out correct. Otherwise I might lose hope lol. My line comes out crooked with one side higher than the other.
I have the same andis t-outliners #04521 blade, I even followed your video and adjusted them but I still can't get them to cut as sharp/close as I like. Is there any other way you can sharpen your blades for a closer cut?
How new is the one you have? I actually have two pair, and I will say the one I've had longer seems to cut a little better. I think it could have something to do with my older trimmers being more "broken in". Depending on close you already have them adjusted, you could try adjusting them a little closer, as long as it's not too close.
Umm, not sure, it's model GTO #04710 bought it off Amazon last August. I adjusted the two blades at the same height and it was so sharp it cut me so I had to readjust it just under and it was ok, just wished it cut super close without actually cutting me.
Panovich04 have you been using them for a while? That's what I meant when I asked how new they are. If you've had then since August, thats about 6 months...so that's a good amount of time to "break them in". You may try looking up some other videos to see if there's anything else you could do. The only thing ive ever done was adjust the two blades. Sorry man
CEONTHEMAKING These blades are new, only used them twice. I had to replace them because the previous ones had broke, I guess these new ones need to be "broken in". Thanks though!
You only need to adjust it if you want a zero-gapped clipper. Zero-gapped means that there are NO spaces in between the clipper blades. This makes for a more clean cut.
I've done that once or twice. Only advice I can really give you us to be careful and pay closer attention when you're cutting. Or you could invest in a smaller trimmer like the wahl peanut. I use that sometimes for tight spaces/areas.
It happens...pretty much just have to wait until it grows back and then try again. Mistakes happen, the important thing is that you learn from them so it doesn't happen again.
I Saw this on Rich Brian Insta Story 🖐️🖐️
That's crazy 😂😂😂
i just fucked my shit up
😂 I've been there a few times
That's tough
People don't respect how hard this is and how much talent it takes to be able to do this with both hands.
Im broke, haircuts cost too much. Trying to learn how to do em myself
Thanks man. You helped me figure out how to line the side of my hair up better. Last time my shit was a straight line lol, now it looks more natural XD.

Glad it helped!

anyone else fucked up their hairline while trying this
😂😂😂

Great video, a verbal tutorial as a follow along would have definitely helped.

my hair has this v thing going on in the back lol should I fade it or just line it all up?
how did you cut your own hair that gud?
Nice video bro
When you bought your Andis T outliner, did you have to adjust it like others say?
You only need to adjust it if you want a zero-gapped clipper. Zero-gapped means that there are NO spaces in between the clipper blades. This makes for a more clean cut.
That's good to know...thanks for the info.
Jeremy Spates No problem, glad I could help! I'm also trying to learn how to give my self a line-up, that's why I clicked on this video ;)
Jeremy Spates Also, out of the box, they are not zero-gapped, so you might want to watch a video on how to do it.
don't really recommend this if you mess up your screwed I cut my own hair but I never line up myself. you did good though

See i got this issue where i can't do a decent line-up with out cuttin my eyebrows. Any ideas on how to fix that ?
I've done that once or twice. Only advice I can really give you us to be careful and pay closer attention when you're cutting. Or you could invest in a smaller trimmer like the wahl peanut. I use that sometimes for tight spaces/areas.
Sounds great, thank you.
Kevin mike wahl detailers and get them off of Amazon much cheaper than the inside any store
see a professional?
good job
No sir barbershop is my friend lol
whats good with the hair on te back of his head
everything
I don't have any hairline 😩
can someone help me figure out what clippers to get? Not to expensive but willing to pay like $50 at most.
For clippers, I'd suggest looking into the wahl seniors. For trimmers, I'd suggest wahl detailers. Check Amazon or ebay for the best prices.
nice
Are Wahl T-Pro Trimmer good for hairlines?
I'm not sure, I've never heard much about them. I would probably go with the wahl detailer.
if your hairline is pushed back a lil whats the best thing to do?
Too much hair on your neck 😂
