I never get tired of watching this family ride together. Those kids are very fortunate to have dad be able to send those jumps along side of them instead of standing on the sidelines. Keep up the great work guys and thanks for bringing us along with ya.

Love how Chad interacts with his kids and is learning right along with them. I coached my two boys from 5 yrs old to 15 yrs old in many different sports. I had to learn how each one learned the best way. My oldest son was very visual so in practice I would show him what I was talking about and that’s how he learned. My youngest son I could just say something and he would pick it up but I think that came from him always watching his older brother. The coach is learning how to better teach and you are learning with them Chad. Great video as always.

Chad when I was 12 and started racing the best way I learned was riding with a friend of mine that was a Pro at are local track. He would go out with me during a practice session. It was better then his dad or my dad telling me Mike makes 3 gear changes in this area and you make one or 2. Mike would say follow me and I show you the lines 2 years later I was go to intermediate from beginners on 125. The problem was I loved desert racing and moved to that until I was 47 and and had 41 plate and moving to 14, 2nd in class multiple times. Owe I forgot I number 8 in AME motocross for the west, but I loved the speed of the desert, nothing like it.

Hi chad and family Paul from Australia , great to c u and your family doing this , time flys embrace and enjoy every minute as they grow up quick , as a sole parent my son and I started Raceing at age 5 he’s in his 23season this year , with 7 state junior titles and 5 senior titles , the Andrew McFarlane cup , and second in class at Finke , I’ve been so fortunate to travel with him and do this chad , if I could give any advice is , with your eldest teaching him how to jump big with more control ,my lad was about 9 or 10 on 85 cc , when he grasped the clutch and front coming up on big jumps pull clutch and hit back brake to get front down , I called it the doo bee doo bee lol at age 9 he grasped it and went to next level , like your wife said tire them out well I can assure you it will make them sleep lol when you’ve been doing it with them for 20 years believe me that’s when you become tired 😊, good luck with it you have a lot of driving and spending money if you commit , but I’m sure if they acheeive half the sucsees you have , it’ll exceed your achievements from yourself even if they don’t get to your level to do this together as a family is very reward ing , and guides them into being a responsible adult. Hope you read this all the best mate 😊

Doing something well and teaching it well are often 2 different challenges. Often, the very talented don't not really remember the road he/she took to get there, then things that we take for granted are missed in the teaching process. Teaching is a skill all of it's own, but it is of the utmost importance that we are taught from people who have done it, and the world is now full of teachers who were never great at anything.
Good family, that Reed family is. Welcome home. :)

I don't think I would have become an engineer and a small business owner if my Dad worked on my bike. If I wanted to ride, I had to do all the work myself, (and a 2-stroke is the best place to start). It was that experience that allowed me to find productive skills that I would need, because I never was able to make a living racing, (but many retired pro racers find they have as much to offer as a HS drop out too. Some get a job with the state, (baby sitter state), and some drink themselves to death like Brian Swink. But if you learn while you ride,--you can be like Doug Dubach too or anything productive you love. Chad, I dig you and the family man, but it is you who should be sitting in the trailer while your son preps his bike for a ride. You made it with just riding, but that is not good odds to bet on. Take it from a guy who almost flunked HS and ended up paying my own way part time for engineering degrees, and becoming one of the sharpest guys in the class, (after years of brain work study). The mind is just like the body. The more you work it out the better it gets too. The mind is also what makes us human, but it has to be active, or we are little more than farm animals. I am serious. If your kids won't work on their own stuff, then they should not ride. Send them off to arts and crafts college instead. There is so much more opportunity that comes from this sport, than racing. That mind is ready to grow.
Sorry. Your family, I totally understand, and you are a family to look up to. I am just sharing what I know, and want to see your family do as well as possible.

I want to see videos of you teaching Kiah to start jumping more. I'm a beginner and still don't feel comfortable enough to commit to small tabletops completely.
Probably wasn't the best idea to get a 300 two stroke for learning how to ride a track.
I'm having problems air wheelieing bc I think my corner speed is so slow, that I have to accelerate hard to (almost) make the jump and the 300 pulls so hard so fast.

If you can find the right videos I’m sure you could explain why it will come in handy sooner or later to know that. Could show him what happens when you don’t correct and when you do. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
