Toyota really hit this out of the park. The car looks exceptional inside and out. However, the design choice to sign off on the 7-seat boot configuration is completely inexcusable.
Big mistake on this prado is that you are loosing half of the storage capacity because when you fold the 3 row of seats you basically lose half the highest. the only way to avoid the lost of this space you need to buy different model with 5 seats only. unfortunately i ordered VX and cancelled my order as soon as i seen the car and not to mention 10k more expensive than the generation before.
Looks great but removing diff lock seems like cost cutting yet each model is more expensive. Pushing people to the most expensive option to have features to me is a poor decision. Diff lock and sway bar disconnect should be optional across the range. All other competitors in the market have lockers, even GWM have front lockers.
Honestly, the Ford Everest is a much better option twin turbo V6 that has plenty of power and is still quite efficient. There are so many negatives with this new model don’t have the extra long range fuel tank add blue the rear seating section is terrible.
Forget to mention the many ford factory recalls, resell value and hit 100k so many having issues already......OOO cheap looking & touch plastic in Ford......

So go spend your hard earned money on a 4 cylinder and good luck with towing. I’m sure it’s great on a flat road.
