I vote to just change seth's intro to "seth, probably better known as seth, probably better known as saffron olive" every once in a while. that was hilarious
Yeah, people say a lot of things about Seth: That his beard is shaggy and unkempt, he's not as sexy as Vince, he kinda smells like hot dogs... But, his laugh! His laugh is adorable and infectious!
A thing to note for anyone willing to try this kind of decks: Against decks with a ton of nonpermanents (such as the first deck Seth played), sometimes popping a Warp World even when you aren't in the best position to keep going can win you the game simply because you are far less likely to hit nonpermanents than your opponent, which can set them way back.
Hey Seth, if you ever re-visit this I'd suggest replacing Arboreal Grazer with Gilded Goose. It creates an additional permanent, and while it uses that permanent to produce mana, in the late game you have something to spend spare mana on. Plus life gain from food could be relevant in corner cases. It's also a flyer, so can block some scary things in the air.
when seth topdecked warp world halfway through game 3 of match two, i was confused because there was still like 4 minutes left in the playback bar. then i realized that the entire rest of the match was just the combo and laughed.
This has gone straight into my top favorites Against The Odds videos possibly ever. The basic idea of overwhelming the opponent with permanents, to then just chaotically shuffle everything back and what not, was just too funny! Thanks for all these videos, honestly I still get surprised about some of those cards even if I do know them!!
That isn’t true at all. Sometimes sideboard cards are brought in for most matchups because we also know our opponent is siding something in or out - nature’s claim In tron, for example, is terrible main board but comes in vs many, many decks. A sideboard card that comes in every match is not necessarily a mainboard card, and a mainboard card that comes out every match is not necessarily bad in the deck.
@@Cornelius135 yeye i get that but in this case it's not like that kind of scenario, its more like bonecrusher giant is just one of the best cards for the main game plan in general

I LOVE BOTH WARPED WORLD AND THE GREAT AURORA! I couldn’t smash the like button fast enough. Please do something crazy... I just have one question. Why no Valakut?
Because dryad plus valakut make sense. We can't be doing that. But actually cause you'd probably just win with titans and golos plus valakut like 90 percent of the time instead of the warped aura shenanigans
The intro should have been the Long Live the King clip from Lion King, with Warp World as Scar, MTGO as Mufasa, Seth as Simba, and all the ETB triggers as the stampede.
I remember years ago I made a mono green The Great Aurora deck, inspried by Seth, probably better known as Seth, probably better known as SaffronOlive's Great Aurora Standard deck from even longer ago (Battle for Zendikar standard I believe). Really awesome to see a better, newer version of the spicy deck!
Idk if this is still the case bc you only resolved aurora once but there was a modo bug that shuffled the tokens into the deck and when you drew you could draw and put the tokens back, which then causes the tokens to disappear. They still counted towards your draw number though which made aurora basically unplayable. Havent checked updated penny dreadful legality but you could build a similar deck in pd. So much fun!
More than the shuffling, I feel like the keeping track of all the triggers after a warp world (the tireless trackers triggers) would be muuch much harder!! Have you seen that stack after the second warp world in the last shown game? That was ridiculous!!! :D
Deck seems...good? Maybe a bit win-more, and I think more non-permanents wouldn't hurt to much...But I am %100 proxing this to play w/ freinds, thank you for this masterpiece Seth.
According to mtgos manual, pressing 7 (Might be f7, I don't use mtgo) before clicking a trigger would stack all triggers of the same kind automaticly, so you don't have to scroll through like you did.
I have same kind of warp world deck, with primeval titan and tireless tracker. But instead of great aurora I have Chancellor of the forge as the other big payoff. It is good in your opening hand as it makes a free token, it's good as a ramp target as it is a big creature and makes a bunch of tokens, and it is absurd as you warp because when you stack it last it makes a huge number of hasty tokens that can kill your opponent on the spot. I have like 3 eternal witnesses to ensure that you can warp as many times in a row as you want, so the coast should be clear to attack when you are done warping. Also pretty much every land (and ramp) except khalni garden comes in play untap so you have as much mana as possible after you warp. I also run a Valakut, the molten pinnacle, to have an alternative way to victory if attacking is not an option. So there is sort of valakut-titan route to play the deck if things go that way, since there is lots of ramp in the deck anyway to it to be effective. The deck plays pretty good midrange game with tracker and witness granting card advantage, with option to ramp into huge effects later. It is pretty sweet to win real decks with it, highly recommend to everyone!
something that could've let u go even bigger with a few of your warp worlds is when u saw a warp world/aurora on top with courser: crack a clue to draw it then u wouldnt have had to skip so many titan/golos triggers etc :)
good lord this was hilarious. a bit confused as to why courser didn't get sideboarded in in the last matchup, though?? seemed an obvious include to fix risk of losing to straggling bolts
I was thinking of a brew that would be like a stinky pseudo mill; almost geier reach sanitarium symbolic. With playsets of fevered visions, howling mine, and font of mythos. And a bunch of discard spells. It would be a bad deck, but could call it 'manual mill' or 'snail mill'. ?
i think first opponent just heard to always kolaghans command on draw step and never realized why the pros did it, its to hit the one card people draw then. doing it when your opponent has cards in hand gives them the choice of what to discard, which is not great
maybe that one desert that ETB pings opp for 1 could be playable as a 1-of in this deck? it seems useful as a win condition in the case you are infinitely casting warp world/great auroras
Could be sweet. I considered playing Valakut and Dryad of the Ilysian Grove, but it felt too much like normal Primeval Titan decks. The Desert ping land might be a good middle ground.
When I first started playing mtg I had 4 grazer in my deck. The guy I was playing took pity on me seeing I was brand new to mtg and broke down why grazer is bad and helped me edit my deck so I actually stood a chance in my other matches. :p

If you had waited for the prowess trigger to resolve at 20:32, your first Bonecrusher wouldn't have been countered.
Especially unfortunate because he had the mana to play two giants the following turn and instead had to play the grazer.

“Well congratulations, you got to 8 mana! Now what’s the next step in your master plan?”
“Crashing this client. WITH NO SURVIVORS!”
If that match 1 was in real life I would be checking opponent’s deck to make sure they weren’t playing like 8 kolaghan commands
