I am sorry you had to go through that in Chennai. I am from Arunachal in North East, and I can tell you that the vibrancy of India is far beyond comprehension. Every 100 miles the language and culture changes. People and their customs are so different that you sometimes forget that if its the same country. So i request you to give india the benefit of doubt if you face individuals who are rude and inhospitable to guests. In general we are good and welcoming people.
