Watching you play clash is better than playing clash
I feel that 110% playing clash, it just feels like a longer flashpoint and it is very underwhelming
that's pretty much the overwatch experience no matter the mode tbh

The tug of war comment where it feels like four people jump onto the team when they're backed up to their last point was too accurate.
Clash in metal ranks is literally just "go have 9 team fights" the gamemode. I haven't played one game where both teams didn't touch the others last capture area.
Clash seems to have the exact same issue as 2cp. It is almost impossible to cap last point.
But, importantly, it's not necessary to cap last, so it isn't gonna be nearly as obnoxious.
That's probably intentional in this case, clash is definitely the spiritual successor to 2cp except without games stalling out with no progress. The fact you can win by full capping is more of a mercy rule

I've seen more healing orbs thrown in this video than I have from the past 2 weeks of my overwatch games
I do have to agree that clash last point is really hard to cap, I was able to do it once but that was only because I was playing venture and had a support helping me so we were able to stay there so long that our full team was able to get back.
I really like the idea of clash, unfortunately last point just kinda poops on it, just too casual for a "competitive shooter". I get making it slightly easier to defend last point so the game mode keeps going and there are less steam rolls, but it's quite literally impossible to cap it which means the team that's losing just gets a free point for losing. They either need to make the spawns more balanced so it's not as easy to hard stall last point, or make it so defenders don't get a point for defending it.
I can't be the only one that actually enjoys this mode. I've played it roughly 40 times and insanely fun. Comparing it to 2cp is a crime.

It felt like its almost not worth it to attempt taking A/E. 2 ideas I can think of would be making so capping the same point 3 times is a win (quickest back and forth would be 5 points instead of 9) and/or removing the Point C spawn room(s) to give the losing team more of a chance to turn it around.

Only full cap I managed in that game mode was by mauga ulting the enemy team into their spawn so they couldn't touch point.
So my impression playing is that when played correctly, winning the point tends to put you at disadvabtage for the next fight because defense side has time to regroup and set up on next point while youre capping.
Other problem is the close side gets better positioning on all of these maps, theure purposefully lopsided. The only even matchup is at midpoint.
i think it is due to the game mode not being figured out yet
It was fun whilst it lasted it was honestly the only thing I was playing bc it was chill
Now if they'd just let us queue for specific gamemodes in QP after they bring it back...
Tbh i'm kinda sick of a lot of overwatch players disdain towards long game modes, i like to have some long intense matches every once in a while, so seeing people possibly liking clash is kinda nice

Milk definitely does NOT help with height. I've been drinking at least one cup of milk pretty much daily for over 27 years of my life and I am only 5'2. And I'm AMAB so even more reason for it to make me taller. Maybe it's the Italian genetics lmao

Got baited by the rein pic. As a rein player I LOVE the map but the gamemode is probably one of my least favorite.
personally I think this map is so poorly designed, it's worse than 2CP in terms of gameplay for me, exactly because what Flats said right at the start: It just goes back and forth because of a massive defenders advantage, making it so the team that caps the first point wins 90% of the time.
Which makes me sad, because this means that they've made a beatiful map design and managed to ruin it TWICE now, with Hanamura and budget Hanamura.
And i really dont want clash to come to the game until this is fixed.
