Man, if you grew up in a Nigerian house. everything from the mannerisms to the accent is absolute SPOT ON. Wow, found you on IG and binging your content. You are so funny man. Keep at it abeg! haha
This is exactly how my dad comes into my room to ask and tell me stuff and check up on me. He keeps asking me about my brother's relationship and why he didn't come over yesterday like he said he would. Like, I don't know!!!! Call your son and ask him. 😂😂😂 He'll bring me some food he's concocting in the kitchen for me to try and then he'd ask if it still needs a little bit of salt, or pepper and then I have to get up and go sit with him in the kitchen and just start talking about literally nothing and everything. I call it our gossip time 😂😂😂. I've moved out on my own now but he still calls me randomly to "check up" on me.
Our gift ❤ but when you’re not in the mood it’s a little bit tiring 🤣 And it’s funny because when i was younger i thought i tiresome with my stories 😂😂
😂 My Nigerian brutha! I went to UDC and Howard. THIS is almost HALF of my professors. I'm a PA too. Almost ALL of the RNs are Nigerians. I love listening to them and watching their mannerisms. It has been a good cultural lesson for me, as an American Black guy. The sucking "tisk", with the teeth and, fussing about their kids, is so endearing, to me.😊
Wonderful Nigerian Dad and husband there- awkward, doesn't have the right words to say, infact say a lot of the wrong ones, but truly loves his family (though he almost ceratinly wouldnt be able to say that either)😂
Exactly, we African (Nigerians) find it difficult to grasp the concept of "depression" ... we are too busy struggling to live...to survive...to feed...we don't have the time, the luxury to feel depression.
😂😂I agree my folks are Ugandan but I grew up in South Africa..so when I told my mom I was depressed she said I should take it to the Lord..I find it funny 😅..coz my folks grew up at a time of survival not nowadays where the younger generation * including myself* become self aware about our feelings, emotions etc..As a person who is recovering and has is fighting depression I find it funny too...
Lol, I'm South African myself but grew up in the states. My parents never wanted to hear it, the few times I tried to share I was depressed. I guess this makes sense as to why based on their time growing up lol.@tumweonlycommentary2797
This isn’t an African thing. This is a melanated person thing. The challenges of recognizing and acknowledging mental health issues are common issues among all people of melanated descent, not just Africans. Our Shared and collective histories of colonization and oppression create similar struggles with identity and emotional well being. Many of our cultures prioritize survival over mental health, but as stated above younger generations are becoming self-aware and willing to discuss these issues. This is a shared experience.
@@Usererror28you mean we don’t make mental issues a personality trait? So you have depression no problem but get up and do something with your life while still depressed. 😂
@@darrylvegatvYou are the real deal, when I tell you that you be spot on all your skits. You definitely represent our people (Nigerians). I have my Yoruba Mother so invested in your skits. She just loves you ❤. I seen you on Kountry Wayne skit with Crystal, and you did an awesome job. I was dying laughing. We Love you & so proud of you. E se ooo Daryl 🙏🏾🙌🏾👏🏾❤ #NIGERIANLEGACY 🇳🇬 🇳🇬 🇳🇬 🇳🇬
She never said she was depressed, he assumed. He just want to gossip and find out what she know about her brother relationship. LoL🤣 That's how they do, idle talk first.
omg this is me with my daughter when she was feeling depressed, I tried so hard to cheer her up asking her for help with technology (just like him with the cell phone) This was actually funny and sad, because we want so bad to help our childen in any way and sometimes we don't succeed.
This is the universal African/, African American , Afro-Caribbean parent… They are all the same… Don’t really care what you got going on, they need help, they got stories about everybody , a message or word, and you gone listen… 😂😂😂😂😂 and now he gone leave and go talk about her to mom.. 😂😂😂😂
For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. John 3:16 If you are yet be saved please make this confession. Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God, that you died on the cross to rescue me from sin and death and to restore me to the Father. I confess and repent of my sins. I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. I give myself to you in Jesus name. Amen Welcome into the family of God.
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized, everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
I was hacked on watsapp by a Nigerian saying he was a pastor from a church prayer group.😂 They stole all my contact posing as myself asking for donations. Thank God it was resolved

Man after a while watching this skit I felt like I was at an African party 😫
The way he’s able to maintain sarcasm throughout, I wonder what the bloopers look like…😭😭😭😊😊
I was thinking the same!! He should post some bloopers! 😂😂
50 stories in 5 minutes hahaha this guy kills me😂😂
African parent... He just came to check the cleanliness of the room ohhh

That's so sweet. It's not everyone who has a father that wants to spend time with them. As someone who lost their father, cherish those moments.
Cherish it. My father was never involved in my life. I wish your story was one I could relate to.
You have a wonderful and caring father. Please appreciate him while you have him. I miss my dad so much!!!
🤣🤦🏿♀️🤣🤦🏿♀️🤣🤦🏿♀️🤣🤦🏿♀️🤣🤣
The best investment I ever made 😅

Glad he appreciates his wife 🥰🥰🥰

African parents!
This is a classic Nigerian parent/adult child conversation.
I swear I am bothering my son like this, the patience he has when I'm being extra🤣. I just love him

Underrated comment. And it's not just Nigeria. May be an African or Black thing universally. They can't say I love you if their lives depend on it.
I'm gonna try to work on that one, for the sake of the next generation 😅😅
@@jagbrit3723true I second that😊
This is my absolute favourite comedian!!
This dude is not comedian, he is real bro!!😂
Where was this conversation going though? 😂😂😂
It doesn't matter.....I guess he was trying to find out more about depression 😂
