    Holy hell, this is actually quite mind blowing once you realise the deeper context behind it all! Thank you so much for all your hard work and dedication! Your videos are amazing! Great depth and attention to detail, while still being quite short. I don't know how you do it but please keep them coming! =)

      Awww, thank you so much, Max! Isn't the fundamental theorem amazing?! :)

    Proof lies in substitution method and differentiate the substitute by product rule. Find g(x) and h(x) as upper and higher bounds. You end up with f'(x).

    Doing homework for FTC1 and got lost. Checked book... still lost. Checked Symolab explanation... still lost. Checked the actual worked answer in Chegg Study... still lost. Came back to trusty Krista, spent

      Oh good! I'm so so glad the video helped! FTC can be super confusing, so it makes me so happy to know that this was able to clear it up!! :D

    Im going through integral calculus this semester and the FTC went over my head and I just went through with the steps but didnt know what I was doing. This was my "a-HA!" moment. I cant wait for the second part! Thank you so so much!

    My calc teacher is terrible, he would go through half a lesson and then say he doesn't have his notes and couldn't finish the lesson so we all didn't know what to do. And half way through the semester he says if we have below a 50 percent, there's no chance of us passing. Which is like almost all of us, but thanks to you I actually learned something. Thank you so much

      +Esam H It's called Sketchbook, but here's more information: blog.calculusexpert.com/learn/how-i-create-my-videos

    I got a sketchbook program, but I could not get on the black background

    • @kristakingmath
      @kristakingmath  8 лет назад +1

      +Esam H You need to create a completely black image, and then import that into Sketchbook, and you'll be good to go!

    If the theorem is as dreadful as all that, shouldn't we be careful and not call it by its true title? We shall call it "The Theorem that Shall Not be Named" or "You know what." Bad Harry Potter jokes aside, I thought the explanation was well executed. Great work!

    I've spent weeks every day trying to understand just this.. and I still don' t understand this at all.. just this topic, i can do all the substitution etc take integrals of what ever, but seeing any explanation of this if just word vomit brain switches off makes no sense. i don't get it
