I’ve watched this one several times. I have a 425, GX 345 and 345. Wife says I need to sell one of them. GX is all torn down. Hopefully it will look as good as this one. That’s the one that probably will be sold. By the way, you have one of the cleanest garage floors I’ve ever seen. Thanks for the video.
Great videos that brought me to your channel. I have a 425 (bought used) and a 445 (bought new) both run great but could use a cleanup like you have done. I have maintained them and your work has inspired me to bring them back to original condition as I plan on keeping both. Thanks for taking us along. Great job and I can see how it can be very rewarding when you look at the finished product.
Great series of videos. You are extremely talented and patient. Beautiful 425, just be sure to let your parents know the valve stem on that front left tire is on the inside of the wheel. ;-)
Those are John Deere parts, but I believe Flip Manufacturing has them now. Flip did not have them when I did this work, otherwise I would have bought from them.

Keep the GX, they made many improvements to the GX

I really appreciate you sharing the process of going through the 425. Really enjoyed watching this series!
Great to see some DYI Videos for the 425. I have one and find these to be very helpful.
With a very tiny flat screwdriver, you can lift out the grease seal of the bearing and put more into it. Then simply push the seal back in.
Thats one clean tractor
Excellent vid! Thank you. I have a 318, and I learned a couple cool hints and ideas from you. Take care :)
Pretty sharp, my hole taillight fell off today won't snap on either!
I absolutely love my 425 AWS. Looking to buy a 47’ snow blower for it for next winter.

What type of heat resistant material did you research for the underbody of the hood?
For the tail lights did you use the Flip Engineering set with lens and housing? Thanks for sharing your experience with this nice garden tractor.
Tail lights were John Deere parts
@@FoggyTinkering Thank you for the quick reply.
Thanks for the superb entertainment and teaching. Very helpful for someone like me who needs structured careful instruction. Very nicely done.
Great videos! Where did you buy the tail lights from?
Those are John Deere tail lights. I couldn't find anything aftermarket.
WHERE DID YOU GET THE NEW TAILIGHTS

Question. I see that yuo took your plastic deck pulley covers off. Is there a reason for that? Just cleaning or do you run it like that?
The covers were missing when I picked up the tractor, but I think he took them off to blow grass out after mowing.
Is it back to the owner yet foggy tinkering?
Indeed it is, and the user is reporting improved performance and fuel consumption
Always rough around the gas hole. 🤣
