I don't think it has anything to do with chests on the vehicles specifically. I had several speeders that despawned while I was still IN the game. I drove my speeder over to a far cave. Died in the cave (stupid mistake). I put a flag by the cave/speeder. Travelled back after I respawned and the flag was there, but the speeder was gone. My wife mentioned she could see the speeder back at our base, but it didn't have wheels on it and she couldn't interact with it at all. By the time I walked back to the base...it was gone period and neither of us could see it anymore. So...vehicles period are just acting weird and despawning. And yah, anything on them goes with them. I only lost a speeder. Can't imagine all the stuff you lost. It sucks man. Like those old school Minecraft days, when you fall into the void by accident and lose all your enchanted items and armor. I quite Minecraft for over a week before I could even think of going back in I was so pissed. Re-grinding can suck LOL.
Ik I literally just lost the millennium falcon I made to scale I had some tweaks I had to do on it but something managed to kill me and when I respawned it just disappears and nothing was inside yet only thing it was was powered wheels the star wars blocks and thrusters

When vehicles tip over.... if you find the right spot... you can run at it and often cause it to tumble back onto it's wheels. (if it is not blocked by terrain textures)
8:07 i would say place a layer of tnt barrels around the outer layer of the pyramid and it should collapse a decent part of it. Then use a dynamic foundation to break the rest by pushing it around
Hey Kaz I build a simple pad with four small balloons and a bunch of thrusters and chair. Able to turn after using wrench on thrusters. I was able to fly on the entire outskirts of my Map in about 15 minutes. The world is enormous, the materials are endless. Landed smoothly. Give it a shot it's a game changer for traveling. Especially since you don't need to farm for batteries with thrusters. Just glide on.
I learned my lesson with this long ago, I lost 8 chests that were just on the ground in my first village and it stopped me playing for an entire month and even when I started playing again it took me ages to feel the game again. Even today I’m not feeling the game like I did because of it, the only things I grind is wood and granite because I just don’t trust the game not to despawn my chests. The fact I reported it when it happened and it’s still happening now is just depressing.
I had one instance where multiple of my chest disappeared too also in my first village. I was so worried cuz it was multiple of my materials from caves. Of all things 💀💀but I was lucky because I just exited out and and all my materials were back. Maybe in the future that's all you need to do is don't touch it just exit out and go back in? Worked for me. But I have seen other people mention this happening and I could only imagine. So sorry this happened to you with all your hard work grinding. They need to honestly have an update where the caves all respawn. Even once a week would be really nice. Hopefully this never happens to you or anyone else again. 🙏

The best vehicle that I have seen is the one from "The Void" that works on water, land and it flies and is almost unbreakable. Very easy to build and it isn't that expensive to make
Kaboom’s custom build from his March 26th video “Motorcycle, FatBoy & Improvements” is real good. See it at 7:50 mark. I use it to go back and forth to my shore village.
FOR THE GLITCH. if you have problem to place vehicle sideways, just place it at its rear part last pins- will break as well. Can build an angled roof in a square formation, place 4x4 foundation block in the middle and then 4x4 vehicle base on top of it. jump in, stand next to the base and start clicking :D Eveything will fall in to the middle where you standing ;) just dont use autoclicker.. :)
Epic dont make the game anti-farming,... then there wont be a need to glitch stuff in,.... like not one afk or almost afk farm to build,... the game is 90% grinding, 5% building and 5% fighting.this will get boring

I've found that the best way to flip a vehicle right now is thrusters. Just have the materials on you to make a couple whenever you're driving and then attach them in the direction that will push/flip the car upright as needed.
You can put a red balloon on the roof of the car so when u drive it won’t tip so easily, it’ll make driving sooooo much better. It’s a game changer for me. Maybe u can do the same with the hauler, maybe two on each corner and maybe some boosters in the back to give u some speed. I also figured taking the dirt roads will be a smoother ride.
Hi Kaz I know you probably won’t see this but I came up with idea to destroy your pyramid. I was thinking you could blow your pyramid with dynamite or a boom barrel because they do lots of damage
Tip to flip your car over: make a dynamic floor and push it under the car. Some times it’ll flip immediately and sometimes you have you hop on and push it down yourself 👌👌 personally I enjoy the cars a lot. You just have to watch where you’re going and it’s best to park them on man-made flat surfaces or they might disappear. Also things can destroy them so enclosed spaces are best
Place the driver seat on the corner of a foundation and it will break instantly just like how you did on the dynamic foundation at 4:16. It’s much more easier to do and gives the same results. If it doesn’t break instantly try rotating the seat so that the driving wheel is closer to you.
I've practiced with the vehicles a lot especially for ground use. The cars they give you aren't optimal. Just build your own hauler that traverses hills and divots the best it can. These vehicles are fun just gotta get use to them and their rules
In my world the snow biome is in a very inconvenient spot on the map, and I’m still struggling to navigate it even with the totems and tools I currently have. So hearing this is a major loss to me. If there’s anything I know, I’m sure you’ll get it back after enough grinding. I’m rooting for you!
for demolishing the pyramid thing, use boom barrels at least like 10, yes ik, time wise not good, resources too much, but trust me it gets the job done
I don't have Twitter, and I was transporting all my loot on the hauler. My hauler still was there but all my loot I grinded just disappeared 😭. Wtf Lego Fortnite 😭
If you go to that spot and logout and back in it might show up. I've had mine disappear many times and it floats down from the sky box. You have to login at that spot though. The main thing is everything in your chests will probably be gone or you won't be able to get anything out. If you break the chest nothing drops though either so good luck on that one. I don't store things on vehicles, learned my lesson.
I was transporting my entire base on a truck I broke my base down and put it on a truck in chests it had everything I owned and I go back to check yesterday morning and it was all gone😢
There are still so many bugs that I wish they would fix. Vehicles have so much potential but all the bugs with vehicles, on top of existing buggy behavior, makes me nervous to put a lot of time into doing anything cool...
Hey Kaz another tip from Crafty Plays is if you use a triple damage pickaxe until the material is one shot then hit it with a triple luck you have a chance to get double the materials 😊

Lego Fornite is testing you!! So much.... bad luck idk? Still a great video. I put a balloon on the top of the vehicle and it placed it upright for me. There are so many good airship builds out there. I really like CraftyPlays ship. But he didn't make a tutorial. I just saw it in his live stream.
I've done a ton of experimenting and testing this week and come up with some cool vehicles using thrusters that don't require any power cells, are very durable, steerable, autolanding and can land on water. My favorite is a hover bike with 3 grand chests or a larger airship (also made a scaled up version of it with 10 grand chests). Honestly thought the Brute that spawned would be the one to destroy the vehicle and chests. RIP Loot. For the pyramid try reporting the issue before you destroy it. I had that happen in my world with no build in sight. They kicked me but it was fixed when I logged back in. Dynamite barrel if they can't fix it.
Use wood/stone foundation and put wheels in it. Cover your headlights with wood matt. 2 rocket in a back and up. Upper rocket to get you back into normal position. Hope it helps
You could put the steering wheel on the foundation being off the very edge of any side corner and it’ll make the glitch work faster and for the beam tower I would suggest smashing into it w the pickaxe like jump smashing it from top to bottom it’ll break as an abundance instead of singles
You should definitely play palworld. I know you’re the Lego Fortnite guy, but I think you would like it and some of the mechanics are similar to Lego Fortnite. Just give it a chance
Bro, i feel that, because yesterday i had so much Flexwood like 200 and 28 Frostpine that i couldnt get at this point in the game and 50 Knotroot and like 100 marble in a chest, but i wanted to build a bigger chest i destroyed the chest and everything was on the ground but i couldn't build because of this komplex building error so i backed out and joined my world again but everything on the ground all my stuff that i grinded for was gone😭
I make sure to have a bed on whatever vehicle I am using for my supply runs, and my airship also has 6 chests on. Before I log off, I sleep on the bed on my airship and I have not lost it for as long as I have had it. But yeah sorry Kaz...

Trick for cars You get a wrench and make one button boost forward,another one making you boost backwards,and another on the roof the roof one flips if you tip over. you also put a actuation switch under or on the sides By boost I mean linking thruster to make you boost And also crafty made another vid on a air craft

LEGO FN Status tweeted 11 hours ago that the issue regarding chest loot disappearing has been fixed. But I'm not sure if vehicles despawning has been fixed so I'd still be careful. This video was filmed yesterday.
Happened to me once I parked my chest-rich flying vehicle in front of a cave. When I had a stupid lava accident involving getting thrown dynamite at me from all directions i died, and after respawn my vehicle with all the loot had completely disappeared from my world.
I lost my absolute masterpiece of a backpack inside a snow mountain due to glitch spawning inside the mountain. I still have the backpack beacon there, but no backpack. I even manually glitched inside the mountain to get the backpack, but it wasn't there. I stopped playing for more than a month due to that.
Disappointing since this was the type of thing I was hoping that could be avoided with people making their own glitchy transportation by Epic making official vehicle mechanics.
This once happend to me but i was luckily able to save my stuff, when you park a viecle on a rock or anything that isnt the dirt itslef (such as tall rocks in desert, big ice mountains, etc) after going away and coming back it kinda dissapears, and the viecle goes into it, look at the place you left your holler, if the dirt under the ice it was on when you left was curved you can keep leaving and joining and if you were lucky it would slide down to you
So I've figured out that if you leave a vehicle on the ground it will disappear but if you leave your vehicle in the air it will never disappear. I've had my air craft in the air at all times

so I had this ''missing resources'' glitch few days ago. It happened when I tried to place something in the chest and it made a breaking sound like and became empty :D It was not seen anywhere, but once I got on the car and moved, I got them back inside of my backpack. But if you re login, I believe the resources will be gone..
Build an aircraft. I build won and it works great with the new update. Build sky stations for each village so you can easily get on and off your aircraft at each village.
I did the same, I've stuck a couple of chests on there and it's perfect for supply runs. I haven't bothered building sky bases, I just shoot out the balloons with a crossbow one by one and it slowly lands. You get all the materials back from the balloons so no loss there. It gives you freedom to fly and land anywhere.
Just happened to me too. Put some chest on my hauler and put all my valuables on it cause i wanted to move base. Left all my chest on the hauler and went exploring for a few night cycles. Came back and all my chest were empty 😢 BUT in my despair i broke the chests so i can reclaim the resource. To my surprise the items in the chest suddenly burst out. So to those having the same problem, try breaking the chests/vehicle. It might be there
There is a bug that causes vehicles to de-spawn/respawn in different locations. Twice now I have had vehicles with no chest on them disappear from where they were left and reappear at completely different locations - one time about half way across the map from where I left it (at the mouth of a cave) and when I died, it disappeared and reappeared a very long way from where it was parked. I had given up on finding it, but, found it while randomly wandering the map??? The vehicle update is a hot mess. They are slow, hard to maneuver and fall apart way too easily.
I've had this happen to one of my airships right after the update. When I re-entered the game, my ship was not where I left it. It was about 50 meters away and it was wrecked.

Put a balloon on top of the car, not the side. Also the smaller ones might be a better idea.
You can also use fishing rod, although it might be less effective

To destroy the pyramid… go with an epic explosion with a bunch of dynamite barrels and then throw a dynamite.

You can get rid of your beacon with some dynamite. Might make it go quicker when destroying it

LEGO FN Status tweeted 11 hours ago that the issue regarding chest loot disappearing has been fixed. But I'm not sure if vehicles despawning has been fixed so I'd still be careful. This video was filmed yesterday.

Add one rockets at the side, so you can flip your vehicle back over without using balloons

Happened to me once I parked my chest-rich flying vehicle in front of a cave. When I had a stupid lava accident involving getting thrown dynamite at me from all directions i died, and after respawn my vehicle with all the loot had completely disappeared from my world.
I lost my absolute masterpiece of a backpack inside a snow mountain due to glitch spawning inside the mountain. I still have the backpack beacon there, but no backpack. I even manually glitched inside the mountain to get the backpack, but it wasn't there. I stopped playing for more than a month due to that.
Me: w-w-w-w-wait... 🤨 you just had a "Dude, where's my Car" moment? 🤣

Disappointing since this was the type of thing I was hoping that could be avoided with people making their own glitchy transportation by Epic making official vehicle mechanics.
Imagine Fortnite added a FREE pre build of a plane and they also add guns me and my friends would be dogfighting all day
This once happend to me but i was luckily able to save my stuff, when you park a viecle on a rock or anything that isnt the dirt itslef (such as tall rocks in desert, big ice mountains, etc) after going away and coming back it kinda dissapears, and the viecle goes into it, look at the place you left your holler, if the dirt under the ice it was on when you left was curved you can keep leaving and joining and if you were lucky it would slide down to you
You can make a plane by putting boosters on each side of a dynamic foundation, and then using the driver seat to activate them😊😊
So I've figured out that if you leave a vehicle on the ground it will disappear but if you leave your vehicle in the air it will never disappear. I've had my air craft in the air at all times
I know that glitch it is insane and RIP for your loot hope you get everything back!
I’m sorry that ya lost off the inventory due to the glitch but look at the bright side you can come back better than ever after some grinding. You can do it man! Also using code Kaz for all my purchases. 👊
Put a red balloon on the roof/top of the car and it will flip upright.

so I had this ''missing resources'' glitch few days ago. It happened when I tried to place something in the chest and it made a breaking sound like and became empty :D It was not seen anywhere, but once I got on the car and moved, I got them back inside of my backpack. But if you re login, I believe the resources will be gone..

Dude needs to play in sandbox to figure out vehicles, small balloon should flip it
If you jump up and swing your pickaxe while in the air, it will destroy multiple builds at a time
Build an aircraft. I build won and it works great with the new update. Build sky stations for each village so you can easily get on and off your aircraft at each village.
I did the same, I've stuck a couple of chests on there and it's perfect for supply runs. I haven't bothered building sky bases, I just shoot out the balloons with a crossbow one by one and it slowly lands. You get all the materials back from the balloons so no loss there. It gives you freedom to fly and land anywhere.

Just happened to me too. Put some chest on my hauler and put all my valuables on it cause i wanted to move base. Left all my chest on the hauler and went exploring for a few night cycles. Came back and all my chest were empty 😢 BUT in my despair i broke the chests so i can reclaim the resource. To my surprise the items in the chest suddenly burst out. So to those having the same problem, try breaking the chests/vehicle. It might be there
There is a bug that causes vehicles to de-spawn/respawn in different locations. Twice now I have had vehicles with no chest on them disappear from where they were left and reappear at completely different locations - one time about half way across the map from where I left it (at the mouth of a cave) and when I died, it disappeared and reappeared a very long way from where it was parked. I had given up on finding it, but, found it while randomly wandering the map??? The vehicle update is a hot mess. They are slow, hard to maneuver and fall apart way too easily.
I've had this happen to one of my airships right after the update. When I re-entered the game, my ship was not where I left it. It was about 50 meters away and it was wrecked.
When I see people farming glitches I wonder why they don’t just play Sandbox all the time 🤷♂️

Have you had problems on the lion castle kits phontoming out areas when you have to destroy and rebuild then not letting you do that section again?
