'are you going to give up on my boy?' Aaron: 'he's my boy to' Cutest fucking thing I have ever heard! Just that little line got me in tears, I still don't want Jackson to die! Dreading it:'-(
Thank you for your comment. I feel this storyline has been ripped from my life. My Partner of 12 years was coming home from work, was hit by a drunk driver, head-on. he did not die on impact, after 6 months in the hospital, then 3 months at a rehab facility, did him in. He lost the will to live. Growing up gay in a time when that was NOT done, finding another guy who feels the same way, he was my soul-mate. spending 12 years of my life all to have it torn away, watching him sink deeper.
However you feel about this storyline, you've got to give massive props to danny miller, pauline quirke and mark silcock for putting their heart and souls into these roles, take a bow all of you......
I know it's a soap opera, and it's melodrama, and it's sad that Aaron and Jackson aren't going to go forward (or so it appears), but these three actors honestly are HANDS DOWN three of the most fantastic actors ever. Mr. Silcock's pain, Mr. Miller's frustration, and Ms. Quirk's pain are all nearly PALPABLE through my little computer screen. Kudos to them as actors. THIS is the craft of acting.
They tried to make him happy. He knew they loved him. They never gave up on him. Just wish they'd let them be happy. It's sweet that Aaron says he's my boy too
Aaron, "I Love You, you will always be the same to me". At the pier, "He's my boy too". best line and truly shows how much Aaron loves Jax. Brought tears to my eyes. The scene between Aaron and Jackson, picking him up and threatening to throw him out the window. Emotionally charged. Aaron had done so much and is doing everything to keep his first love alive. Everything he's keeping inside is making its way out slowly. Love for some one can make one do things they normally wouldn't do. They are so young that its so hard to see this. If they were 80 plus I can see why assisted suicide, especially when its end of life. The are so many factors that's go into why one would do it.
no words can discribe what I am feeling right now. i am sooo sad at this outcome and how they wrote it but I am so proud of Hazel Marc and Danny that they put a truly great piece of story out there for us viewers. The writers are only as good as the actors and visaversa. The direction in bringing everything out of them in these scenes are just PHENOMENAL My hats off to the trio BRAVO WELL DONE!
@Suppertimepuss2 well im sorry for saying that to ya, Jackson could have handled this alot better , If aaron was real and i felt like Jackson , i'd so appericate him being there for me , and want him when he's gone .
Your comment is impacting and needed in a way. So sorry you had to go through that. I´ve never been in similar situations but I can´t understand how people can be so closed minded, especially people who have been discriminated very often. I´m proud of people like you.
"Thank you for caring enough to try." - stabbed me in the heart. "He's my boy too." - opened the flood gates. "You know what I'm asking you to do mum." - I think I need tear duct reduction surgery now. The only thing, and I thank god they didn't do it, the only thing that would've made this more painful would've been a scene with Aaron on the phone, in tears to Paddy asking him for help.
when Aaron said, "he's my boy too" it really did cheer me but at the end the tension between Jackson and Aaron....it was very intense and when Aaron was yelling "I said give me my ticket" i just felt like the stone was hitting hard on the bottom of the sea.. Jackson is really giving Aaron a lot of pressure, and to be honest i really think Aaron has tried really hard...more than he has ever done already!! I've never had it happen to me, but apparently killing someone changes you, no matter what! I mean, people have a hard time when they kill someone that they don't even know, while doing their jobs, even if it is by accident or on purpose, such as doctors, police, military, etc. But killing a loved one! That has got to be ten or a hundred times worse!
I witness first hand how true your statements are, my boyfriend was killed from a drunk driver in 2007. The driver had thought he hit a deer and when it was known that he actually killed someone, he couldn't bare it and he ended up committing suicide before he could be charged. On brighter news, Aaron is coming back to Emmerdale late 2014.
Solofyd Yeah I heard about Aaron coming back! I wonder how they are going to do that considering he is wanted by the police? Or has that issue been cleared up already? I have to admit I haven't been watching much of Emmerdale since Aaron left!

Regardless of what folk think of this storyline and how it portrays acquiring a disability, end of the day its a personal response to how things happen to us . I can`t believe how much this broke my heart to watch. The pain in Hazels face realising Jackson still did not want to live and the heartache showing in Aarons face and the explosion of anger and pain coming out in that rage. The last few minutes with Hazel and Jackson on the station was some of the hardest stuff I`ve watched in years.

@soonersherewego As it's written, I don't think Aaron can bring himself to kiss him - even on the cheek. It's NO longer a Gay storyline but rather a story about two people in love and Aaron can't bare to get any closer than he is - because he would fall apart. And he's been trying SO hard to keep it together for Jackson. I think he believes if Jackson sees him falling apart, Jackson will lost it even more. There's not a bad thing I can say about the actors. They're amazing. And I hate to be overly negative, but I still cannot seem to make myself accept the absolute disregard for the effectiveness of therapy and professional guidance. Family members intervene in loved ones' lives to get help all the time, even if they're NOT in such a dire situation as Jackson's! Hazel and Aaron's acceptance that Jackson doesn't even want to TRY it makes it almost impossible for me to be okay with Jackson dying.
Thanks for the upload. I have to say, the glacial pace of this story is really beginning to wear on me. How long until we're all suffering some version of Stockholm Syndrome? This unhappy trio is really losing my sympathy lately.
One way to stop Jackson doing it was for Hazel and Aaron to say we'll do it too. It would have stopped him. When Aaron starts hurting himself after losing Jackson, chas threatens to hurt herself and it shook him up. The writers could at least have let his arms move. He could have touched his mother and Aaron. He might not have felt such despair. People thought they'd given up on him when actually they did it because he begged and begged. Aaron probably still hurts over it
I would have done it, if he was my family/close friend/my man I would have helped him too..None can help him, no drugs, no psychiatrists nobody..if you set your mind in that all the others can do is try and understand and at the end help how matter it hurts themselves!
PZDR
I hate to say it, but I really liked this episode. Not because of what happened (because it broke my heart) but because the actors just blew me away, and because- unlike quite a lot of the eps recently- this was really powerful and emotional. I think they're dealing with this storyline quite well, even though every single episode makes me want to cry... Also, I think Aaron's behaviour was really interesting- can we expect a return to his violent temper and habits after J's death?
So freaken sad. They've tried it their way, now they really need to seek professional help! This is so intense. Very dramatic and very sad. I'm on the edge of my seat here!
thanks Jon, wow this was some good acting here, i still wish that Danny would kiss him if not but on the cheek everynow and then. I think it would have mattered.
Feel sorry for them its a dreadful thing to have to go threw it was his choice and I think that u should be Abel to end you're own life as its you're body you're minde no one else's but feel for Aaron afterwords and how it effected him with the self harming but think they did the right thing as he was in pain and was not happy they did all they could he us in a better place now ✌
Well I have to agree (still working on my Psych/Master Degree) not everyone is mentally/emotionally capable of overcoming even the most of difficult situations. Some can/some cannot. But I agree with **madmann100** these characters have been 100% intense when it's called for. Cheers to Marc/Jackson and best wishes to all his future acting rolls. I will miss you on ED. I have become a BIG BIG Fan..I hope you can one day be on a US soap.
@sanyrub yes yes go compose...but it was pretty intense. The end got me when Jackson said, "you know what I'm asking mum." Oh my. But in reality if my life was turned upside down I would desire the same thing. To lose all control of your bodily functions would be quite terrible. I can't even imagine it.
@superxx57 I used to do more, but now I try to point out the problems at most once per episode. Otherwise, the board tends to be mostly favorable comments about the acting, which I usually agree with. I'm certainly not alone in finding the show to be in significant ways unrealistic. I keep watching because imo the glass is half full. "Whining"? That seems to me unfair & needlessly pejorative. I don't disparage comments on the show's strengths, as long as they don't try to deny its weaknesses.
@alwaysuseless You're right. I probably should've left the "whining" part out of it, but it just annoys me when people constantly complain about how "gay characters" should be depicted, and I'm not just talking about you and this show, but it's done almost everywhere. What a lot of people don't get is that it's a soap, and it can't be written to satisfy everyone. In your case, the glass will never be completely full no matter what you're watching unless you write and produce it yourself.
Comments here have said, in effect: Regardless of what people think about the storyline... It's quite telling that people preface their praise of the acting with this qualification. Is the glass half full because the acting is good or half empty because the storyline rings false & is subtly offensive? My only answer is that unfortunately the story doesn't offer a whole glass & never has. I used to hope it would eventually. Now I think it never will, even when it becomes Aaron & someone else.
I can't deny that the acting is brilliant, but the writing makes me sick to my stomach. Why are these two written as star-crossed lovers??? Why can't they just be happy for a change:( If I would have known from the start that they'd go and break my heart, I wouldn't have watched it in the first place.
@DazedConfused989 Of course I don't know if he would. But neither will Hazel or Aaron if they never ask again. Besides, I don't think I said he'd consent. I expressed my wish that his family would consult a professional, not Jackson. To me, it seems Jackson is beyond the state of depression that he'd even be able to ask for help. He's fixated. Does that mean he's just hopeless and destined for suicide? All I'm saying, is when a life is at stake, I couldn't pass up a viable option to get help.
@saerae Do you honestly believe that Jackson would consent to therapy? In therapy, you can only get out what you put in and Jackson would be less than receptive in his condition.Therapists can only help the willing.
What the hell does he want her to do, put a pillow over his head while he's sleeping? How can you ask your mother to "help" you to commit suicide! That's way beyond selfish in my opinion. He said it wasn't about Aaron, well, not everything is about him either. I felt so bad for Aaron cause he's trying so hard to help Jackson be whole again and everything he does is thrown right back in his face. I know it sucks to be paralyzed and it's a huge adjustment, but how can you turn your back on the pe
@alwaysuseless Regardless of whether the guys are all over each other or not, this is an epic storyline complimented with superb acting. It's fine if you don't like it, but other people do, and that's okay too. What I find interesting is that you've been whining and complaining about this for a long time, yet you still continue to watch it. If anything, that's quite telling...
@ACXiaoyu Ok I´m replying cos I finally composed...lol Yes I would probably desire the same, but think about Aaron, and Hazel...omg I feel like crying only by thinking about it! This is so powerful. And I´m pretty sure this video is still going to have plenty of awful comments.... I can´t... they are like haters at this point :)
@patroclus33 Al right then, so they don´t love each other right? buff I thought it wasn´t that difficult to distinguish the things I explained. Aaron sleeps next to Jackson so they probably touch, what happens is that we don´t see it (and I would like) cos the show doesn´t want to show that, but apart from that, love is in the air, and of course drama at its best! God I never went to the movies hoping to see kisses. When you don´t see them but you are moved then you know that is something great!
@superxx57 I haven't done TV scripts, but I think I could rewrite this one so that Aaron & Jackson actually come across as lovers instead of brothers. Without any scenes inappropriate for early-evening British TV, one could communicate that they are lovers & allow them to act accordingly. As it is, the show is consistently devoid of that reality, and there is no excuse for this, despite all the excuses people come up with: British culture, demographics of the audience, Jackson's paralysis, etc.
I wodner if Pauline Qurike will still be on? I mean... I really don't see it, but... just wondering... she's so amazing. But, I see after... this... she wouldn't really want to stay.
@patroclus33 Ok do you like this or not? If you know about some other show watchable on youtube better than this one can you please fucking tell me now? Cos if that exist I want it so bad given the fact I think this is the best I´ve seen and enjoyed and 'suffered' the most :)
Jackson, he does not dare to commit suicide and asks her mother to help her stead. Hazel, What can take away the suffering of her son would be doing but certainly not to kill their own children. Aaron, of course, were furious when the despairing lover. sometimes we think our problems are very big and like life is no longer useful. not all things are within our control. how we deal with the problem until the end of life?
@alwaysuseless OH OK I thought you were saying these people showing their heartbreaking feelings was offensive, in a world where all should be pink colour! :) Haven´t you noticed this storyline is mainly about the desperate situation Jackson is in? And of course Hazel and Aaron with him? I feel like crying only by writing these words but hey of course I should be thinking when watching this episode 'fuck it they don´t kissed'. Hilarious
@patroclus33 mmm, I really think Aaron and Jackson do connect. Can´t you see how much Aaron understands Jackson and viceversa and how much Aaron has done these weeks? If this isn´t the truest love storyline I´ve seen on YT then I don´t know what it is. What happens is that the lack of physical affection scenes the show has chosen to not show blinds people (we are supposed to think they touch but we don´t see it). For me is not that important. I want it but that doesn´t mean this is not love...

Hazel and Aaron's acceptance that Jackson doesn't even want to TRY it makes it almost impossible for me to be okay with Jackson dying.
Very moving.
Woo am the first one to comment, this was very sad epside but very good acting.
he has his socks tucked into his trainers wherever he is :-)
wow. I keep saying that.
I hate it, but how amazing are these actors.
p.s. good new hair, Hazel!
I said Hazel..... Love it
Thanks for the upload.
Oh my gosh..... I'm sad now :(
That last scene was so powerful. The storyline as a whole sucks, but they have delivered some good scenes along the way.
PZDR
@cmaj129 Days of our Lives "Will's Story" - he'll be coming out this summer.
What does Aaron say when Jackson asked him what did he see when he looked at the pictures?
he say something like : someone having fun
"Someone having fun, that's what I thought"
ok, i hate the story line, but that's what i call great acting, wao!!!!
they had me teary eyed!!!
What does arron say at .16 to .17 seconds : Angin? what is that Black Pudding.
and what does he calls Hazel? cop mate?
So freaken sad. They've tried it their way, now they really need to seek professional help! This is so intense. Very dramatic and very sad. I'm on the edge of my seat here!
@adgp I can´t understand. And they also deserved more last year already!
Yes I agree ;-)
thanks Jon, wow this was some good acting here, i still wish that Danny would kiss him if not but on the cheek everynow and then. I think it would have mattered.
@themoonfellinlove Aaron says the black pudding is 'angin''. It means nasty in slang terms!
You know if Aaron would touch him more often he wouldn't feel so alone!!
Please disable the comments on this one eh?
@patroclus33 I´ve missed some of your comments, now I realize. Sorry. And you are always ok expresing yourself
@MissMusicAllTheTime i think after he dies, aaron is going to be violent again becuase he will be hurting so much and everything will annoy him x
@ACXiaoyu glad you liked it LOL
Okay, time to put poor Jackson (and us!) out of his misery.
Jackson,
he does not dare to commit suicide and asks her mother to help her stead.
Hazel,
What can take away the suffering of her son would be doing but certainly not to kill their own children.
Aaron,
of course, were furious when the despairing lover.
sometimes we think our problems are very big and like life is no longer useful. not all things are within our control. how we deal with the problem until the end of life?
@ACXiaoyu Spain! In Europe of course :)
@jackmctn yes your so right... im always screaming at my computer TOUCH OR KISS HIM AARON!!
Hilarious
@alwaysuseless Offensive? wow a whole new level for trying to search for something negative to say...
this is getting really depresing :/
@patroclus33 mmm, I really think Aaron and Jackson do connect. Can´t you see how much Aaron understands Jackson and viceversa and how much Aaron has done these weeks? If this isn´t the truest love storyline I´ve seen on YT then I don´t know what it is. What happens is that the lack of physical affection scenes the show has chosen to not show blinds people (we are supposed to think they touch but we don´t see it). For me is not that important. I want it but that doesn´t mean this is not love...
I'd like pudding boy to give me his bacon too :-p
@madamn100 AMEN!!!!!!!! They really have done a great job!!
