If you want to remove a bad habit from your life, start adding good habits to your routine. And the first good habit you can add to your routine is 1. start offering salah on time 2. Read Qur'an for at least 10-15 mins a day 3. Also keep making dua for your bad habit to go away. 4. Next you can start fasting/ roza once a week or so, because first of all it restricts us from our basic need of eat/ drink. Also it restricts us from our desires/ nafs. This helps us to remember Allah swt everyday and help us to control our mind. 5. Try to be consistent. Say to yourself that i will atleast bring out 1 hr from my whole 24 hrs in which i try to be productive. In Sha Allah this will help

There is an easy way to do anything, whether it is breaking bad habits, leaving sins, doing something good ( example doing Fajr at masjid, start doing hijab). You take the ownership and responsibility BUT DO NOT DEPEND ON YOURSELF, DEPEND ON ALLAH SUBHANAWATALA. This is where we go wrong, we depend on ourself. Understand this clearly and do not misinterpret me. You take the initiative, you make the niyyah, you do your due diligence, you strive your utmost, but depend on Allah Subhanwatala. Therefore, it is imperative that you do Dua, “ Ya Allah, I am weak and NOTHING CAN HAPPEN WITHOUT YOUR HELP. And say with meaning LA HOWLA WALA QUWWATA ILLA BILLAH. Prophet sas said, this is from the treasures of Jannah. Nothing can change without the might of Allah Subhanawatala. HOWLA means to change. Change from laziness to alertness, from poverty to richness, from sickness to health, from darkness to light, from kufr to eiman….
