On my Les Paul with just your standard Gibson tail piece and Tun-o-matic bridge. Got this down pretty good. He does more slides, as in half step, whole steps, etc. The person playing it here even though he sounds good. IN NO WAY, SHAPE OR FORM! DOES HAS THE EMOTION AND PASSION TO PLAY IN MY WAY OF HOW SATRIANI DOES IT. OR BETTER EVEN. AS JOE SATRIANI HERE. NOW DON'T GET ME WRONG. I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST EMBELLISHMENT.
Although, in saying that, I forgot the live version of 'Echo' from 'Time Machine'. Satch played all of the other songs on the live disc of that album exactly as they were played on the studio version, but with 'Echo' he turned the song inside-out and went totally ape-shit crazy with it.
One of my favorites from Sach, and I dont understand why he never plays this at his concerts nor can I find Sach playing this song anywhere on youtube. Good job Gustavo by the way. Thanks!
