    5 out is incredible as long as people know how to rotate and fill in open spots...a big problem i be having is people not knowing when to cut or who cuts cause people dont communicate

    • @pointgod2_
      @pointgod2_  3 месяца назад

      Very true, on a 5 Out spacing is the most important so when two people cut or are even two close together it can throw the whole offense off. As a PG it’s important to be able to be patient and reset so your offense can get itself together to then create optimal scoring opportunities

  • @jellygvo9636

    Gotta pay attention to that wing/corner read A LOT as a guard for which rotation their going to make off cuts and rolls. Definitely a CHESS MATCH!

    • @pointgod2_
      @pointgod2_  3 месяца назад

      one of the most important reads PG's have to be able to make off rotations!!

    Thanks for the Zone break down especially. Its my biggest weakness as a guard by far especially since im not huge on screens i can easily bog the offense down with bad reads.

    • @pointgod2_
      @pointgod2_  3 месяца назад

      No problem! My advice for offense without screens is getting your people to space the floor so cuts are easier and kickouts as well. Take advantage of the zone not guarding the actual player by using spacing

    I might need a shot creator tutorial and also a good built for it, maybe SF, looking to make a bigger build then SG.

      @@pointgod2_ Yep, perfect, maybe a build like carmelo or reggie miller. Good middy, good 3, low defense with some interior, maybe a little rebounding and good strength

    • @pointgod2_

      @SupremeBoyGotNex Carmelo build with that 84ish strength could be really good, i would lean towards that!

    I got a question I’m thinking of starting to play the point guard position with my friends and stuff and family but what do you think is the ideal perimeter defense needed because with so much pick and roll going on and Titan using apparently because you know dudes have been using cheating devicesI’m just curious to see what’s your ideal perimeter defense

    • @pointgod2_
      @pointgod2_  2 месяца назад

      If I’m playing point guard i usually have a lower perimeter defense. Maybe around 68 or none at all if I’m playing with my squad. I have my lock guard the ball mostly that’s why. If that’s not the case tho i recommend trying to get bronze clamps and challenger

    Any tips to get good at icon cause i always mess up

    • @pointgod2_
      @pointgod2_  3 месяца назад

      Repetition to be honest with you. The “easiest” way is to always have a squad so you’re very familiar with who’s who but obviously that’s not ideal for people who run with randoms. I say always open your icons while dribbling up the court so you know where people are and if they cut you have an idea for who moved!

      @@pointgod2_ I usually don’t get the ball as often, even though I average 11 assist per game.. no one believes a center with IQ can bring the ball up and make plays in REC or 3v3. I love passing the ball and the chemistry that comes with it but I can never seem to find a consistent team to run with.

    • @pointgod2_
      @pointgod2_  3 месяца назад

      The same principles apply with randoms, however their more likely to make rash decisions when getting the ball in these spots. You’re job is to get them the ball in the right spots as a playmaker. If they mess up afterwards it’s not on you.
