Ugh, Reyhan why didn't you tell the truth? There was even a witness and even if Emir didn't believe you Hikmet would have and his approval is all that matters. Emir like his mother live at the pleasure of Hikmet's generosity. If he cuts either of them off they'll out on the street with nothing to their names. She should've told the truth about Cavidan trying to throw her out. Instantly it would've felt like the truth because it was coming from Reyhan and Cavidan would've given herself away.
