Something I haven't seen people talking about is the fact that malekith can pull cards that have been discounted in the deck to 3 cost or lower. So if you play zabu or phastos and then malekith, you can pull a 4 cost
I've been seeing that too but its also met with some people thinking it could just be bugged? If too strong it could possibly get nerfed to only look at base power too.
these developers’ refusal to use consistent wording is so funny to me. like why did they go through all the trouble of adding “-costed” (which is such a stupid word btw) to the lexicon and specifying that “-Cost” refers only to a card’s original cost-especially when there was already a pretty clear differentiation between “cards that cost __” and “__-Cost cards”-if they were just going to completely ignore that change a couple months later?? they struggle so much with simple English it’s crazy
No Ajax/speed/wiccan, but i am hopeful that Malekith finds some additional homes. Your advice to wait until Sunday/Monday is always spot on. FOMO who 🧐
I replaced mystique for sage and it was really good, when maliketh pulls her and reveals in last place she becomes really big and if he doesnt u can play her in last turn plus ajax if u did wiccan
I've always been an Ajax believer, even with the initial discourse. I also loved AntiVenom because of how it fit into the Ajax deck. Now we have Malekith, and I couldn't be happier. Thanks for the content Alex!
That first game is absolute cinema 😍. I got Thena (1k tokens) and then Thena variant with my keys, very cool. Got everything I wanted cause I had the keys. I can't believe this is only her second time in caches when she released first week of June, FIVE months ago
I just played him in a big dumb low cost with invis woman (no super giant) and it worked! Having swordmaster, maximus, gladiator, ebony etc being pulled is solid a 4-/13/12/14/13
honestly - its sooo much better then frigga, not even close. This thing getting to 12-13 power consistently and your opponent not knowing how much power he have to spend there.
Well 12-13 power with 2 bodies remember that. An early clog can stop it as well as a Cosmo or Alioth. Not that I'm saying Frigga is better, shes definitely clunky to use but in the right deck? She provides even more power. Bounce Move has been my favorite and even without Madame Webb who would make it even stronger I've been consistently able to copy a Torch, Dagger, or Vulture anywhere from about 15-20+ power and with bounce allows me to not only lose priority to dodge Shang, Shadowking, etc but also lets me drop 2 different 15+ power cards that are cheap enough to use another move card to get it even higher. In a Kitty Elsa deck it's very easy to have 2 kitties at with anywhere from 6-12 power giving you 12-24 power to drop on turn 6 only using 2 energy.
@@ROFLWAFFLELAWL4may as well run tribunal, stars have to align with frigga at 3 cost as well as your draws. She is great when it works out but so useless otherwise. She seems more consistent in destroy. I do feel like the bounce move is just a win more too even when it does align
Currently Malekith is bugged with Titania. Probably some other cards that are bugged as well. Also Malekith reads power reduction on the cost so cards like Pixi, Zabu, and Phastos can add some interesting interactions.
Yeah it looks fun but I am also experiencing some spider people fatigue. Two more spiderverse cards next month and we just had basically two seasons of spider people.. (I view symbiote ls as spider slime aliens.)
Malekith was my favorite Thor villain back in the day when I read Thor comics and it's kinda sad to see him not be a 6 cost flashy big bad and have an ability that doesn't make sence for his character Edit: I just noticed his animation looks like he is sh*itting out/giving birth to the card he is adding and now I can't unsee it
@Unibot47 his unique abilities is stuff like energy manipulation He creates pink energy weapons and projectiles and can do all sorts of interesting stuff like manipulate his body with magic and turn into a small pink energy cloud or massively improve his healing to escape death. He can also do cool magic stuff like fully taking control of Venom, manifesting all black and traveling between realities. He has a lot of powers but he was my favorite because of his personality. He was basically like Loki but 100% evil and maybe even smarter and more cunning

You can just play any good 3 drop instead of Mystique really! Nova, Red Guardian or Copy Cat are all good choiced. I‘m also interested in running Anti Venom instead of Gladiator and Shadow King or Kate Bishop instead of Lizard! A lot to try out!
@@kidnamedjulian Maybe because you are a bit soft in the head? Cassandra Nova is possibly the worst card to put into Malekith decks, because it reveals at the end of the game when there are no cards to drain
I just couldn't see how he would be good with only low cost cards and being random as well, but I guess he has some use. Just not quite for me so I'll save for Fenris Wolf haha

I like the deck you made but I still feel like the card is pretty mid. Maybe it could be ok in suffer deck or jungle. But how many 1,2 or 3 drops are there where it benefits you to have them reveal at the end of the game. That part just like make the card soo mid. Like a weird invisible wemon, plus jubilee card. Def make since for taken power away or adding power at the end of the game as a suprise. Maybe decent for discard to to get more of your low cost dicards out at the end of the game.

Yeah I love the card. I climbed from 78-93 with Sizer's Ajax deck. He streamed and played it with a crazy winrate from top 5 to top 3 in ranked. I won six eight cube games already tonight, my alliance are wondering what the heck this is lol. What I like about the card is the synergy works well with luke, anti venom and valentina. Or you can go the route playing Wiccan. Either way an excellent card, best of this month.
