She never got to perform this song live with them during this era. I shed some tear with this song and now this song is very nostalgic to me. The MV shows how the members are trapped inside some object or stranded and can not continue because of the obstacle and other members manage to find them and rescue them.

There were targeted malicious attacks and false rumours about the members (haters still bring up these issues till this date), thus their producer (also the person who formed Twice) had conversation with them and wrote this song. He also framed the lyrics and gifted it to Sana (the one sitting in the rain) as it was the first time he saw her lost her smile since the formation of Twice (her instagram post were deliberately taken out of context by politicians and haters). Coincidentally, after the song was produced, Mina (the one trapped in the neon lights), was diagnosed with anxiety and on hiatus for many months. The lyrics assigned to her really speaks about her situation. Also, the umbrella that Dahyun (the smiley rapper) brought to fetch Sana is the shape and color of their first generation lightstick, thus the song is talking about the relationship between the members and between them and the fans. (For casual listeners, they can also interpret it as for someone who loved / cared for them).
So, the song was written by JYP after a long period of scandal and drama surrounding Twice and its a multi subject song first it’s how they save each other that’s why they’re paired up in the video, but it’s also about once too. Based on your comments about your taste (synth/80s type music) and what songs you’ve liked so far, for Twice songs with music videos I’d recommend Fancy, Breakthrough or Fake & True. For something a little different, a darker more angsty (less dance-y) song by them that is incredible and beloved is Cry for Me, but there’s no music video, just a choreography video. I’ve been returning back to your channel several times to see you react to my favourite group and I am happy you’re enjoying them so much! They’re really such a special (pun intended) group of ladies and you definitely should check out a guide so you can get to know them more! It makes you love them even better, as they’re a silly group of nerds (said affectionately) with so much humility and love, both for each other and for their fans. So many great Twice songs, and a lot of their magic is in their b-sides. Just for to be different, I’d recommend Go Hard and Say Something from Eyes Wide Open album. Polar opposite sounds from one another, but after I Can’t Stop Me, they are my faves from the album

Btw the members write a lot of their b-sides and this one is written by the member Dahyun (the smiley one) This song is from their album "Formula of Love", it's one of the most highly rated K-Pop albums and their most loved album. It's primarily a disco-pop and synth-pop but the album encapsulates a handful of other genres such as Latin pop, hip hop, and R&B I notice you like the 80's sound, "F.I.L.A" is another good song from the same album that I think you will enjoy. This one is written by Nayeon.
