Ah that means a lot, thank you very much. I really underestimated how challenging it would be to make this in terms of where to draw the line between too much information but yet give enough so it hits the mark. I appreciate you taking the time to comment.
Ah, I was waiting for you my friend. I’m very glad and I thank you for pushing me to get this out lol, I know you were waiting. This one was oddly hard for me in terms of consequence. How do you talk about the real risk but also minimize it so it’s not a focus. I am really looking forward to the next few.
Awesome video and has the information that is hard to find on the internet. I already made the decision to give cave diving a shot in a couple weeks. This is still good info. I respect the risks and will also take in as much as I can for training and practice in the future.
Thanks man, I’ve been diving so much that I need to get back on this. I have the bulk of it finished, but the fine tuning is where the time is spent. Thank you for inspiring me to get back to editing.😀
Well I’m very glad and I hoped you subscribed because almost all of the series will apply to you. Near the end I will be covering rebreathers an trimix but that’s a long ways away.
🤣🤣 You aren’t wrong my friend… I’ve just been so busy and when I look at the number of views (understandable) I’m just putting my time elsewhere. I do have to say though, it was really nice to just go diving without filming. Maybe in November. I’m booked solid until then.
I think your comments about deco requirements in caves may be a tad misleading. The way you explained it, in my opinion, sounded like you were tying decompression procedures to cave diving. As I am sure you are aware, there are many, many caves that can be explored without the need for technical decompression procedures and likewise, you don't need to be trained in decompression procedures to become a full cave diver.
Hey there, and yes, you are 100% correct. I will be going into more detail on this topic in future videos, so this was just a high level over view but yes. Most of Playa, Tulum, and any caves above 40m are largely no deco caves. I also could have a bias as all of my dives start at 40m, but I will talk about that in much more detail when I talk about decompression in depth. Thank you for commenting, I appreciate the time it took.
😍😍😍😍 YES!!!!! I was wondering if anyone would notice! I must have rewritten this part 3 or 4 times…. Unfortunately I see quite a few instructors and guides bringing non cave people into caves. I wanted to touch on it in more detail but I also wanted to keep this high level. I will be touching on it though when I talk about instructors, and training in more detail. I’m really happy caught that, thank you!
Great video!
Thank you for commenting, I’m glad you liked it.
Well done. As a cave diver it's rare to come across videos that are 100% on point.

My friend… love it … this is something that should be mandatory to every one who wants to be cave Diver !!

I appreciate the calm non pretentious approach of the subject. Look forward to the following videos 👉🏼
I appreciate you taking the time to say that. I’m hoping to have the second one out by the end of this month but I have a ton of stuff going on.

@@meridacavediver Thanks for your reply. Just an observation but I thought it was worth mentioning.
At 4:20 you are showing a single cylinder diver who may not be cave trained... why?
