As I remember
Each master ever ever told the similar things importance about rhythm
In my last 65years of learning I ever saw masters teach more or less same thing
Without knowledge of rhythm music is actually spoiled
In 70s 80s I saw that many very popular light music composers ( sorry I don't want to give names here ) ever used to send all instrument players to learn details of rhythm ,without which no one could become sitting members of group
Today maximum musicians n singers r very weak in rhythm that is really a black dot
I ,my self request all please follow these rules n make stronger rhythmic knowledge ,it is the real strength of all types of music
(Singing n playing both )

Excellent way of teaching with expressions ,madamYour accent is typical Bengali. Whenever you say "daagi" it is typical Bengali word which I heard many times during my posting in Silchar(Assam).But Bengali language is very sweet and their Ravindra Sangeet is really classic. Congratulations for carrying the Indian music in forward direction.
