Nice hunt mate, thanks for sharing 👍 I found a piece of a lead domino on my roman field, but that stone one is something else 👌. Love the roman dice too. Gave you a sub 😁
Another brill video Darren and some great finds. You seem to have some super permissions - that 2nd Nokta bag would go great with my Simplex + ... LOL. Catch up next Thursday night. Cheers. Tony 🦊
I woke up this morning and I’ve watched your video with a lot of pleasure again.Nice field, nice finds and a lot of pottery again, I like it 👌Have a Nice day, Greetings from The Netherlands 👍🍀👋🏻
Gotta say. You'd think Nokta would've tried something original. They've clearly used the Garrett design and added a pocket. I got a grey Garrett finds bag this year and it's definitely hard-wearing. Thinking there was an upgrade maybe.
That was a great hunt! I love it when you make that connection to the past over many hours of searching, you kind of build a picture of who has been there. The gamin pieces are such special finds, nice one 😁👍
all nokta makro products seem to be very well made and sturdy, which is a defo plus if you dont want to be forking out for stuff all the time. that garret one lasted pretty well though, impressive. Lovely stuff up again darren. Love that die, blooming clonker , the one i have is around 10 mm size!!!
Great video. Loads of cracking finds. Would love if you could do some live digs on the Roman as I’ve just bought a deus and the help with the vdi’s and tones would really help, I know that takes forever and a pain with one hand. But any help would be greatly appreciated. Legend. Keep up the great work
Great video. What a find, a roman dice is on my bucket list.... And then that domino. Amazing 👍
Thanks for watching, appreciated :)

I believe that Dominoes came later, Middle Ages originally from China C12. Brilliant video and yes I was yelling "Hypocaust tile" at the screen.

When i return i will do some live digs now i know where the hot spot is.
Interesting. Bone dominoes were not uncommonly made by prisoners of war, mainly the French on English turf.
thanks for the info. not too far away there was an POW camp for Italians so it could well be something like you say.
Man wins over field… again! Cheers from USA 😃
haha, i certainly did this time. Thanks for watching, appreciated :)
Could the domino be a ma jong game piece I wonder great field
Possibly, who knows, turns out Dominos wasn't really invented until about the 13th century.
If your get hypercaust you are generally bellow floor level so maybe the tessari or tile floor fragments should be showing.
Nice video m8 and even better finds. Please do get yourself some new gloves though...
hahaha, yeh i know about the gloves. hehehe
Thanks for watching, appreciated :)
Great finds... what program do you use on the Deus please?
Did you learn all about the Romans in school? Or from detecting? Well done!
I've learned through detecting. I love to research what I find and have a good memory :)
Could be a bath house mate, all the same you're on the money.
yup, a friend said the same. I will revisit after harvest and try and convince the farmer to deep plough it :)
