    I understand that it is expensive to develop a sports car correctly, but an IPL Q50 with a 3.5TT would be absolutely cool and if it could compete with the M3 and C63, I think that it would put infiniti back out there as a capable performance brand

      If the 2025 q50 did happen to get the 3.5tt and amg 9 spd, I would immediately return my 2019 redsport to stock and trade it in! 😁😁😁

      Just make a twin turbo v8 model or stick a revised VR38DDTT engine in it

      @@TheRELLEworld tt v8 would be sweet. I would imagine there is a reason they went to a 3.5l tt. There has to be plans in the works of some kind

      An IPL 3.5 TT Infiniti of ANY kind would immediately put Infiniti back on the map as a serious luxury performance brand. I am ALL FOR this.

    Q50 with a 9 speed would be killer. With the 7 speeds it’s fast. With 2 more gears and an even spread ! Heck ya. I love the vr30 one of the best engine. S

    @ashton9542 5 месяцев назад +5

    Actually, the more I think about it what if... this 3.5TTV6 in the QX80 is a trial run for the next powerplant for the next GTR? 🤔 I mean, the Qs paved the way for the engine in the Z. I could actually see smaller displacement V6 with possible hybrid setup like the E-Ray Vett. Nissan can let Infiniti fail at the expense of keeping the actual name afloat by testing new things under a different name lol

      Nothing beats the VR38DETT

  • @ashton9542
    @ashton9542 5 месяцев назад +3

    I just dont see it as much as we all want. Why would Nissan allow an Infiniti to have a more powerful engine than the Z, which kinda flopped on release. Fuck it engine swap from QX80 into a Q60/Q50 😮

    The internet manager for Infiniti said they would be no new Q50 or new design for 2025 Why is he saying this? I really like that car, but it needs updating so bad.

    Thnx for the info that you put out there. I have a 2009 fx35 RWD SUV by iNFINI-theif, (my name for this company now, because they wanted OVER $3000 for the diff bushing replacement), I use the Z1URATHANE DIFF. BUSHING IT FITS OK, and it seems to be holding up, thanks to you. The suv is running fine now. Just wanted to put this info out there for anyone that may be having issues with their diff bushing on the FX35. it DOES WORK and it only cost $120 with shipping.

    q50 is going to be completely chopped from the lineup after 2024. 3.5 is going to be insane. Sadly the end of an era for Q50. 2024 is it folks so buy em if you want em.

    Q50 should have the same 3.0t v6 and transmission from the Z car with over 400hp a auto and manual option should be a thing

  • @SoleSupervisor
    @SoleSupervisor 5 месяцев назад

    The main reason I don't think it will make it to the Q50 is because it would ruin Nissan Z sales. Even tho the Z is a real sports car, I think most people will choose the bigger engine in a Q60 over it.

    I’m a fan of Nissan and Infiniti . BUT BEWARE if you have haven’t seen. An engine tear down of 3.0 TTlmfao Nissans turbos won’t Last but only time will tell. Id keep that v8 in the titan but we all know regulations blah blah . If you think the q 50 being behind as it is with a platform from 2016!!!, it will be electric my friend or won’t be lol . Nissan has been had the 9speed research and development per Nissans financial issues im sure they would and could have BEEN done that back in 2019 . We in the time of electricity. I’ve already let down my hopes for a new twin turbo q50. Nissan is know for cost cutting which only hurts Infiniti.

    • @2seep
      @2seep 5 месяцев назад

      Those first and second gen turbos are shit. The new turbos in the new z and the qx80 are far better and revised. Small turbos overall are terrible for reliability, but if they add bigger turbos it’ll compete with the GTR and they don’t want that.

    • @JonahLongworth

      Q50 platform is actually from 2014 but besides the point. Nissan chose to use Honeywell/Garrett turbos and their turbos have declined in quality significantly and they have gotten better but it really comes down to maintenance whether or not they last and other preventative measures
