Congratulations to Ayaka for the win. Both Kaya and Himeji did their best too but Ayaka was hitting the pockets consecutively. Hooray to the Women who competed in this league. As an Asian woman, I love watching them here from Houston, Texas, USA. Wish they would compete in the PWBA.

Ayaka bowled better than both Kaya and Himiji for sure. She basically kept the ball in play and hit the pocket on almost every shot. That said, she had ridiculous pin carry. Many shots that looked like they should have left flat 10's carried the corner pin easily, and she had at least 4 or 5 shredder light hits that went for strikes to continue her string of strikes. Basically she just put too much pressure on both Kaya and Himiji, who are probably the very best female bowlers in Japan for the last 3 or 4 years, but on this day they really couldn't keep up with Akaya. She just struck too easily. As for competing in the USA, it looks to me that in Japan they use the lightest pins possible, because many hits that should leave flat 10's just seem to always go down in PWBA bowling. Also, I'm not sure how they would do on the different oil patterns in international pro bowling.
