This is not boring, repeat, this is not boring! This is exactly what I want in a shopping video. Great job and don't worry too much about your Latin. I rarely hear anyone with good pronunciation (almost everyone says ECHeveria instead of ECKeveria and I'm learning not to cringe) and it doesn't matter, but when discussing plants in written form, it's best to type out the Latin names. For instance, I highly recommend the Cotyledon "chocolate fingers" - it's an amazing plant. I wish we could post pictures! Mine has stressed out in the sun to the most gorgeous colors. It's maroon, green, red, yellow, and orange. E. Licorice is a gorgeous plant, but it stretches too easily. For my money, I'll take an E. Black Prince.
Thanks Ashley. As someone who has been collecting succulents for a few years. You'll never be able to learn all the names because they’re always coming out with new hybrids. Altman plants has most of their plants on their website so you can look stuff up. Also, you can have two of the same type of succulent and they can look totally different. I’m always picking up the same succulent over and over when plant shopping. Even varieties I already own. 😊 I have to keep a spreadsheet so I don't buy duplicates. Love your videos!
Yes, more of succulents/cacti, please! I live in Indiana hard to keep the small succulents alive due to cold. You are so lucky to have such a selection. Ours is sad lucky to find a variety.
FYI, those climbing aloes get huge. They love to be outside in the summer. They are super-easy to propagate Whenever mine gets too tall, I just lop it off and stick the cut off part in dirt, water, or leca. Then I give it away. The original plant will usually branch at the spot where you lop it off.
Hi Ashley, once again a very nice video (I really enjoy the videos on your channel) and great overview of the many succulent plants available there. I always find it wonderful to go shopping in other places virtually and to be able to compare with the selection available in my region - there is always something new to discover! 🤗 I love growing cacti and other succulents! Thanks for sharing, best wishes, greetings from Germany, and have a great day! 😊🌵🌱👍
wow thanks for sharing this video🥰super loved it! since i bought some of my succulents but they don't have tags so now I know their names😊lots of varieties! so amazing cuties!
Yey🤩 succulents, Ive been collecting them for a year now and its quite addicting🤪. I got lucky on buying cuttings from online thats why i have so many kinds now. Its a bit pricey when you buy it individually🙃. But going to Lowes and Home Depot helps me identify my cuttings👍. Have Fun🌵🌵🌵
Watching this tour in winter ‘21 bc I live in the northeast and Lowe’s hasn’t gotten a shipment of plants and succulents in an entire month and a half, plus all local nurseries are shut down for the winter.
So many beautiful succulents! I love the blue heron and especially the chocolate fingers lol. You need to bring gloves to pick up the cactus. Thanks so much for sharing. I know my Lowe's in Rocky Mount doesn't have all of those succulents.
That is a great price for a 4 pack. There is an online place you might want to check out, called Mountaincrest Gardens . They have great stuff. Not in the succulent or cacti realm but you also might want to get a Logee's Gardens catalog. They are far from you, in Conn. but they have some awesome houseplants for not a ton of money. It's making me a little bonkers, not going out. Stay safe.
I will have to check Mountaincrest Gardens. I love Logee's. I've never been to their store, but I enjoy shopping online at their website. Great suggestion!🌿
I love all your videos!! I really do. But I will prefer to see you longer, seen you safe at your Home. For Your own safety, your family and the family of others. PLEASE stay home a little bit longer!!
