I understand almost everything she says, but when I watch a TV show or a movie in English, I usually don’t understand many things and I don’t know why, I probably get what she says because she speaks slowly what doesn’t happen in the movies , I'm lost . The only TV show that I can understand very well is friends, because their English is so clean I don't know how to explain it. can anyone give some tips to solve this?
Sometimes, it's the accent but most of the time it's the enunciation. You have to train your brain to catch up what they're saying and watching a lot of movies is a great help.
i study english too, and i like to watch something with the language in english and the caption in my dominant language. after that, i rewatch that movie, show or video but with the caption also in english, so i already know what happens and it’s easier to understand. once u get used to it u start watching a new movie or show with both caption and language in english
thats normal, you may have spent a lot of years studying the language and speaking english very well, but it’s not everything that we will learn, like the hole dictionary.

i've watched your video and i really found it very helpful in so many ways. you've mentioned that the first step that every single language learner should take into account is listening and you've taken the example of children as they take very long time just by keeping listening and receiving information. you've mentioned also that children learn the language, the thing that i definitely disagree with you about. children acquire language and don't learn it, and if you do a research, you will come up with the idea that there is a huge difference between language learning and language acquisition. last but not least, i would love to thank you for the effort you are making to help english learning to whether learn english or improve it, and i personally enjoy and achieve many things whenever i watch your video. thank you so much and i wish you all the best. hat off

I always woke up earlier than my parents when I was growing up, and I remember that one day I saw a commercial about a mom waking up her kids and it was an amazing view. So I asked them to why they didn't wake me up like that. They laughed and said "you wake up so early honey, sorry"
