One of my favorites! I remember the day I first saw the Round and Round video, hadn't heard of Ratt till then. Sometime in '84 I believe.Woke up from a weekend nap of recharging before a full Saturday night and it was on T.V. I said "Whaaaaat!, Who is that!". Talking about 0-100 mph right to headbanging! My TV was a black and white, and for many years I never realized it had the blood streaks on it, just the skull and crossbones. Only one problem though, no pointy headstock.
I agree with you P Dog! One of the best bands from that era. Warren was so incredibly talented as well as Robin. The riffs were insane! Yep, Charvel should have made these with a pointy headstock!!! Thanks for watching!
@@GeneSchmidt you can feel a slight difference between this DeMartini and a standard Pro-Mod. It feels like they spent a little bit more time on this one, as the edges are rolled really nice and fret work is fantastic. It has a nice worn in feel out of the box. The other difference is they are using quartersawn maple instead of flat sawn. If you can check one out, I would highly recommend it.
Are still waiting for a tone review or did I miss it? I love this guitar....I need to pull the trigger. I might have to 'hide' it between several others myself lol
Good to see you R2 brotha! I'm watching this because I just picked up one of these beauties. Great video Mr CoffeeDrinker! Have you been enjoying this axe?
Yes, it's fairly close to the USA models. The biggest difference that I have seen is the less prominent splatter effect on the MIM models...but other than that it is very close. It's a GREAT playing guitar for the money. It's one of the few MIM models that still feature a quartersawn neck as well.
@@CoffeeDrinker71 nice to hear :) I do have that original Custom Shop from 2006 and its the best superstrat I have ever had :) Maybe I ll do a cover with it today :)
Any guitar that comes in a Box and in such cheap packaging can't be worth much obviously they don't value it enough To protect it better during shipping. At least have it shipped in a case. ☹️
Yeah I know what you mean, but this is standard practice for any new guitar under $2K these days. You have to really spend around $2K or more before a company includes a case...and even still it's going to be a padded foam case at best, like Jackson is doing lately.
Normally I would do that! But, in this case I got a killer deal so it was worth rolling the dice and ordering from a different store...but you're right. Sweetwater's photo gallery takes the guess work out of it all.
VH, Stryper, and Ratt. You got it all goin' on. That y&b V looks so sharp hanging there. All the stuff we wish we had as kids!
Thanks!! Yeah, I agree...the stuff from our 80's years!!! :) Cheers!
I think grandma would say, “your sins will surely find you out…” Sweet add to the collection 🤘🏽
Hahaha! You are so right! Miss you man! I hope you are doing well!!!

Good luck working that one into the rotation!
Hahaha! So far, so good! ;)
Wanted one of these for awhile to go w/ my Charvel So Cal. That thing looks killer!
I can honestly say this neck is by far one of the best Charvel necks I've ever played! Thanks for watching!
Some of the best guitars you have in your collection!! Envious!!
Thanks brother!!!!
I like "Before the wife gets home" lol
Yeah…just keeping it real! Hahaha! :)
No way!!! That’s awesome!!!! Congrats!!! I so badly want one of those! Love Warren!
Thanks man! The neck on this one is absolutely stellar! It’s so comfortable.

Sweet! I’m a freak over the Charvel pro mods. I’ve never played any of the Dimartini guitars. I imagine they are pretty close.

😆 Good luck hiding this one! LOL. Thanks for watching!
Beautiful guitar. Doesn't stand out at all. No way your wife will notice a new "bloody skull" guitar has entered the collection. ( ; Enjoy!!
Hahahaha! So far, I'm in the clear! LOL. Thanks for watching! :)
😂haha I love the intro. "A quick unboxing before the wife comes home "😂 love it!
Nice guitar! Now Hide the evidence
Hahaha! Right? I don't know if she ever noticed the guitar on the rack! LOL

@@Brycereigle2000 hey bro ✊🏼 Wow! I love Charvel guitars. Congratulations on the new axe 🎸
@@R2R3Lockingnut Me too man, they gotta be my favorite. Thank you! I hope you are feeling better 👍
whow, it looks almost the same like USA Custom shop Skull they made in 2006

Order from Sweetwater . You pick your exact guitar

Is the guitar light or well balanced
It is very well balanced. On top of that, it's one of the best feeling necks I've ever played!
