Good explanation. Good warning about the dangers of leading or following a hammer lock in the wrong way. In my experience, the double turn into a hammer lock is especially dangerous, if the follower is not experienced, as you said. It's a really fun move if the follower can execute it, but I only try it once I am sure the follower can do a double turn easily, and even then I often warn the follower before the first time I try it with that new follower. Also, cool demonstration of how you can build an entire routine or sequence on variations of the hammer lock..

Theme of the video, do stuff you probably already knew and add a hammerlock at the end. How to get through a salsa song when you don't know many moves... turn her nonstop for the entire song and finish with a hammerlock 😉 But really, I'm looking forward to revisiting this video once I have a salsa partner to practice with
