Even WITH Poisoning him to death 10x EXP is a MUST Acuteness/Field barrier is still useless since even at lv 130+ on hard mode its still likely EVERY ATTACK that hits you 1 shots the party which is why poisoning him ASAP is still a MUST. Genis still SUCKS.
