Hello, I'm very glad that you two come to visit Chiang Mai. When I have a chance, I see both of you. Both of you are cute. I am very pleased to come to visit my Thailand.
In Thailland , we build Naga statue for the entrance of temple. Naga is different from the dragon .The legend of Naga have no legs and Naga can not fly and also live in the water
The bell shape structures are 'stupas' or 'chedis' (Thai) and were the earliest representations of the Buddha before Greek influences in Northern India led to the building of Buddha statues. Pre-Buddhist times (over 2,500 years ago), they begun as burial mounds and, today, important stupas would contain relics of the Buddha.
In fact they walk around pagoda for 3 rounds, use 3 incenses to pay respect 3 times for 3 main things in Bhuddism which is the Buddha himself, his teaching and his followers which is monks.
The view from the temple is truly amazing.
