    Heads up: leader Boba’s ability to ready resources doesn’t trigger when a leader is defeated because the leader never “leaves play”. This can make a big difference when he surprise strike and defeats a leader, he doesn’t get those resources back at least.

    Great video. I appreciate the long form, multiple decks, multiple matchups. Great banter and insight as well.

    So on the limitless TCG page, if you pull up the standings, and then click the decklist option to the far right, it pulls up the player and decklist. There is a tab next to the Decklist that says Matches, so you can see who they played against and the deck they played against.

    The thing that drives me the craziest with this game being new is people untapping out of sequence. Almost everyone does it and I know it is because of Magic. The reason you want to untap after you lay a resource is to signal that you are ready to play. Sometimes you aren't going to lay a resource and this solves the issue of asking if they are ready.

    For me the han deck needs abit more disruption and ways to interact. Im also using my uwing to cheat out stuff like mace, count dooku, luke with the core rebel early game. The games where han got removed and it too you off uwing leaving you to play nothing and pass the turn with 6 resources still up put you so far behind.

    So all damage is added on but his life is still 0. The rule is that one’s life cannot be less than 0 but the damage is still there. So even if you played repair and healed 3, you’d still have 5 damage on Chirrut and still be defeated at beginning of new phase. Same with power. It can be reduced no lower than 0 but the excess debuff is still there.

    • @Big_Dai
      @Big_Dai 3 месяца назад +1

      Excess debuff? Yes.
      Is that the same for damage? If it stops counting at 0, then no further damage is added when received.. not piled on. Which means he can be healed.

    • @CardClankers
      @CardClankers 3 месяца назад

      @@Big_Dai no that is not the rule.

    • @CardClankers
      @CardClankers 3 месяца назад +2

      @@Big_Dai rule 1.9.2 states “when damage is dealt to a card, place that many damage counters on the card” not put up to that many until health is at 0. Also 1.9.6 states “if a unit has damage on it equal to or greater than its HP value, that unit is immediately defeated.” So yes all damage goes on card. If I swing a 6 power into a 4 hp unit then I deal it 6 damage and game state then checks if either unit is at 0 HP. Then if for some reason if the unit can’t leave play this turn like chirrut then that unit will still have 6 damage counters on it and they would have to heal 3 damage counters on it just to keep it around.

    So in that final match with the Han deck you were at 6 resources, didn't use Han's ability and didn't deploy him, in theory you could have put out Home One plus had Han on the board that turn rather than dropping small units for him to pick off.

    • @TabletopRoyale

      I think I was pretty sure Han wasn’t going to get to attack so it would have been tough to commit to it rather than just play the donks and guarantee home one next turn

    The game developers were just interviewed on you tube
    Hot takes
    Play red YELLOW andor (with 30 hp base, surprise strikes, waylay etc) and with THREE falcon (it’s busted according to the developers, and you want to return it ). They said Andors drawing ability is nuts.
    Hot takes on the Andor build- Surprise strike on k2so is nuts
    Play x wings and a wings. Use three falcon to rule space. And use three Sabine in the deck. Use sneak attack on the falcon too.
    Play red YELLOW grand inquisitor
    Play mono GREEN Palpatine with tons of ramp
    And sets 2-3 are different and really bust the game wide open. They are testing set FIVE now
    According to the developers, Red yellow Andor kills midrange (hint hint)

      Sneak attack K2, not surprise strike. Danny has some gameplay with cunning Cassian on the KTOD channel, it's just Sabine with more ability to last in the late game due to card draw

    Not enough testing yet but I just won five games in a row with Red Yellow Andor against boba green.
    This is my test list:
    Andor
    Chopper base
    3 fleet lieutenant
    3 greedo
    3 k2so
    3 Leia defiant
    3 lethal insurgent (been OK)
    3 Sabine
    3 green squad A wing
    3 Falcon
    3 red three unstoppable
    3 wing leader
    3 asteroid sanctuary
    3 bamboozle
    1 for a cause I believe in (may be cut, too many yellow card vs. gold cards)
    3 heroic sacrifice
    2 shoot first
    3 sneak attack
    3 surprise strike
    2 waylay
    Sb - not yet tested - not complete
    3 keep fighting
    3 spark of the rebellion
    1 waylay
