Crim is the villain, BUT Seth being so cautious with his plays, convinced that Crim "has it", when in fact Crim's got nothing but an evil laugh, lost him so many games of clash.
Seth's biggest weakness in Commander is that he's too cautious. Which is interesting because that doesn't seem to be the case in other formats. Make them have it, Seth!
I hate counterspells because thats the only play around. You wait long enough for them to tap out / counter something weak / make you cast it out desperation
@@zuterwer1835 The thing about counter spells is that, like removal, they are one to one exchanges that put you at a disadvantage in a multiplayer game. Unless they're playing Talrand all-counters, what they counter has to really matter, and that's a hard thing to evaluate. If you get them to burn a counter on something that is good but isn't immediately winning you the game, that's actively good for you
My opinion with clash on is: Everyone who loses should say it. The way it is now, everyone is fighting for 2nd place, but if they had to win to avoid it the games should be a lot more intense.
There's no actual need for a new insentive for first, believe it or not they actually are trying to win, the clash on just added an incentive to fight it out for spots 2 and 3 where before this didn't exist. If the person who came second this week thought he can win by stopping the winner he would have stopped him. (just trying to avoid spoilers) Everyone wants to win, the second place is a meme.
Always love commander clash where Tomer gets to play Izzet storm with another blue player at the table. Would love to see Tomer do a Mizzix deck or maybe do an upgraded precon
Urza’s Incubator is really not seeing play due to its very high price and one printing. It deserves to goes in any tribal deck that has a majority of creatures that get the discount (so basically, not elves lol). Playing just two creatures is a positive on mana. I fully expect to see much more of it after its first reprinting.
Here's my pitch: Planeswalker Umori with Gerard as the commander, but you each limit yourselves to three colours. So you can't cast the commander (not that he would do much in a full Planeswalker deck), but you can have 4 different decks of only planeswalkers and lands. How I would dole the colours out is Crim Grixis, Seth Temur, Phil Sultai and Tomer Jeskai. Could be the most do nothing episode of Commander Clash, but might be a dumb fun break. Alternatively, just do Umori week, where everyone needs Umori as their partner, and one person gets enchantments, one gets artifacts, one gets Creatures, and the other gets planeswalkers.
Honestly I love budget content more than anything. This high power was great showcase as I feel the common criticism is it gets slow when you don't have expensive haymakers and this showed that's not true.
This is what you would call $100 CEDH. I just avoided the title because then I get angry comments saying that because the decks aren't good against budgetless CEDH then therefore they can't be called CEDH.
Tbh, I love watching you guys figure out who has to say, "clash on" and then said party begrudgingly accepting their fate! The more remorseful, the juicier the content. 🎂👍 It most definitely is a punishment and should be marketed as such. (I should mention that tomer rage is my other favorite content 😊)
If they ever bring back world champion cards and Crim wins it I think mist clique (a faerie rogue) would be a fitting name, I mean 45 in a row no one does it like Crim
Oh you surely need to keep the clash on and it should be the first one out saying it. I love that people like crim sometimes betray just to not say it, it's hilarious I just hope you get better remembering who has to say it^^
Yeah, it's great, just too expensive cause it hasn't been reprinted in forever, which also makes it hard for the more casual deck builder to know about it.
Urza's incubator doesnt see play because 1. Its an old cards, and new cards (including cards that were reprinted) tend to see more play bc of reason 2. It has 2 reprints, and one was during Urza block. So it's needlessly expensive
Just thought a fun idea if you guys did class battles based around like Diablo classes . So if your playing barbarians you can use shouts demon hunter would be interesting too.
I know I missed a ton of episodes in my second big hiatus but I have to say Crim has quickly risen to be in the list of my favorite commander clash and even magic content creators list, looking forward to seeing more and the origins (I watch in reverse order until I catch up XD)
Clash on said with gusto, pomp, and bravado will silence the disbelievers and the whiners alike - confidence, not content, is key. Consider: Flavortown. Though to that end, I think the deck designs that budget affords generally make for a more interesting format overall. What might be fun is to try a sort of fusion: set a budget limit for nonland cards at a fairly low cap, but allow lands to be laissez-faire (within reason, see richard + tabernacle). Lands are often the limiting factor on a lot of budgets, and the boring 'staples' that lead to most decks having about 5 cards of difference from their peers are usually where the rest of the budget goes.
Phil does that a lot and I'm not sure why. That said, it is definitely correct for Crim and Tomer to still say no. 4 mana for a double land tutor and an opponent gets one isn't a great card.
@atk9989 you can play hour of promise and not rely on your opponent. It should be four mana for one land, which is bad. But if someone makes it 2 for caster, 1 for them it is completely wrong to make it 1 each and 4 for caster.
I like the "clash on" phrase, especially because it makes the rest grumble about it 😂
Tomer bullies his friend into playing more budget friendly
Crim is the villain, BUT Seth being so cautious with his plays, convinced that Crim "has it", when in fact Crim's got nothing but an evil laugh, lost him so many games of clash.

@@aidennoir597 nah in other formats he's extremely reluctant to make them have it unless he has no other choice.
@@zuterwer1835 nah I make them have it every turn and if they do so be it. I don't play the mind games.

as a proud citizen of chat I vote for the option of saying Clash On each time you guys cast your commanders
I love this idea more clash more class
I Third this idea
Seth already doesn't cast his commander's lol he never would then after that.
Up vote this to the moon!
Seeing everyone go budget is nice
Also, more clash on, not less, more. Especially if Crim and Seth have to say it
Seeing Tomer wearing a Brazil shirt knowing they got knocked out by Croatia is pretty funny
Pretty amusing to see Seth be like "Nah screw storm" but his favorite thing is to play prison and land destruction decks.
Gotta keep Clash On. Y'all are too easily embarassed, LOL
Gotta keep the Clash On and make whoever wins say it. Love Tomer’s enthusiasm!
I enjoy the "clash on" silliness
Crim getting a chance to actually control the board is awesome!
Always love commander clash where Tomer gets to play Izzet storm with another blue player at the table. Would love to see Tomer do a Mizzix deck or maybe do an upgraded precon
I miss Richard 😢.
He is the Clasher whose deck building and play philosophy most reflects my own.
I have no idea why Seth didn't attack Tomer to take him out. lol.
He miscounted and didn't think he could kill him.
@@jamesmoore1476 Even so, he could have seen Phil's Omnath would finish him off.
Glad that you did this theme! I was just rewatching the uncommons only episode and this one is like an upgrade on that theme.
The CLASH ON stays!! Its what i look forward to before the game; its perfect
Crim was the true hero of this game. It made the game so interactive!
Crim is always the hero we need.
Never get rid of Clash On, it's too good! It would be funny to have the winner say it though.

I like the high power budget it's pretty entertaining, fast and you see some cool and unique unknown budget cards.
32:25 Phil's face when he draws the Tireless Tracker 👌
On this week of "Punt or Bluff?" we strap jet engines on our commons. Who will experience the curse of `It's a budget deck!` ? Tune-in to find out!
It's great to see Tomer using the Brasil's team shirt!
Thanks for helping reclaim that beautiful yellow shirt to its original meaning, Tomer!
💚💛❤️🧡💛💚💙💜💚💛
Tomer bming at the beginning then getting very far Into the game was deffo the best : D
I've never seen someone so simultaneously shady and forthright as Crim 😊
Seth roasting tomer is having me dead rn lmao
If you guys don't say "Clash On!" how the heck are we supposed to know that the Clash is in fact On???
Seth should make an effort to play more control. He would start realizing that he is hurting himself by playing scared vs Crim
CLASH ON! love it
Keep the clash on! And I like the idea that everyone besides the winner has to say it.
Also, Tomer's playing a a budget deck! Quick, get 'em!
Here's my pitch: Planeswalker Umori with Gerard as the commander, but you each limit yourselves to three colours. Why is Clash On a punishment? OWN IT! Folks don''t want to say, Clash On? Write a song, scream it like you mean it.
"CLASH ON!!!!!"
Vadrik storm, yes. I have a similar deck I built in paper off of your article!
Oh man Tomer got's Gurren Lagann themed islands. Awesome.
Seth found out the truth in the quote:
"How do you shoot the devil in the back? What if you miss?"
If you take away the "Clash On" we revolt
We NEED Crim. We LOVE Crim.
I love the whole team. Crim included.
such a great game! Crim the hero we need! Sad not to see Phil do his thing, but both Seth and Tomer got to go off - so it was a pretty good game!
Both how power budget and cedh budget would be lovely if you guys did it ❤
I'd love to see cEDH budget. Playing with Power did this a while back and it was both fun and interesting.
This is what you would call $100 CEDH. I just avoided the title because then I get angry comments saying that because the decks aren't good against budgetless CEDH then therefore they can't be called CEDH.
Lets all track day/night on a budget xD
I think the person who comes in second should say "Clash On". ;)

the team's reluctance and embarrassment of saying "clash on" does make the experience so much better, i would like for it to stay
This theme is super cool! I hope next budget theme is Budget cEDH! I wanna see what the most powerful decks under $300 looks like.
If they ever bring back world champion cards and Crim wins it I think mist clique (a faerie rogue) would be a fitting name, I mean 45 in a row no one does it like Crim
Tomer didn't play shark tank all star bolt bend?
I like this High Power budget and would love a season with it.
Loved high power budget, Would be great to see more. Maybe a $50 budget next time 😈
Oh you surely need to keep the clash on and it should be the first one out saying it. I love that people like crim sometimes betray just to not say it, it's hilarious I just hope you get better remembering who has to say it^^
I have resolved Tempt with Discovery so many times.
I've only gotten two lands off of it max.
urza's incubator is straight gas in commander, 3/4 people in my pod play it
Yeah, it's great, just too expensive cause it hasn't been reprinted in forever, which also makes it hard for the more casual deck builder to know about it.
CLASH ON🎉
I'm with crim, clash on is corny but it's fun and should be reward for winning
It will become a race to see who can reduce their own life to 0 to avoid the reward though.
high power budget is awesome :)
I love you Crim. Never change.
CLASH ON!
Always kill the storm deck when you have a chance.
Tomer like wins from here right?
CLASH ON! I
Everyone was much to scared of Crim. But that's also why control is bad in commander unless it is also a combo deck.
This is Peak Commander for me. Budget decks but everyone builds/plays like its cedh
Crim definitely is the villain. By own choice.
The anti-hero
Tomer and his Pre-game GG
“Just a little off the top” (35 life) 😂
I'm 100% of the opinion, the winner says it! It's the best reward
Clash On forever!
3rd and 4th should have to do an improv skit for clash on.
Clash on!😎
Urza's incubator doesnt see play because
1. Its an old cards, and new cards (including cards that were reprinted) tend to see more play bc of reason
2. It has 2 reprints, and one was during Urza block. So it's needlessly expensive
This is better to watch than real cedh
The easy answer: winner chooses who says clash on.
Seth didn't use the path of Ancestry for scry once right?
I think "Clash on" makes for some comedy between the crew so I could really go wither way on that.
Sweet intro
Seth is the Saruman to Crim’s Sauron
How long is Tomer gonna be locked in the attic?
Clash ON!
Clash on!
Every day
Also what's the ETA on those clash on! shirts???
Clash on🎉
Just thought a fun idea if you guys did class battles based around like Diablo classes . So if your playing barbarians you can use shouts demon hunter would be interesting too.
I am a huge fan of budget commander. I miss the 20-30 tix decks. It showed a lot of unique cards.
Seth definitely slipped there
I think you should stand up and anime scream clash on everytime
Until next time friends... WHAT, Tomer?! What happens next time?!
Is there a reason crim couldnt just exile steamkin in responce to the cast? resculpt hits creatures and artifacts and he had 3 lands untapped?
He was letting everyone die out of spite for Seth's attack
They said it was revenge for getting hit. Understandable.
I know I missed a ton of episodes in my second big hiatus but I have to say Crim has quickly risen to be in the list of my favorite commander clash and even magic content creators list, looking forward to seeing more and the origins (I watch in reverse order until I catch up XD)
Maybe we can get tomer a non-potato webcam for Christmas/ Hanukkah?
Clash on is my favorite part of the series, because allmost everyone hates it for no reason XD

why the brazilian shirt Tomer? loved it!
Clash on!
I'm with Tomer about the clash on! Don't be so cynical guys come on! Have fun
it should definitely be the winner who says clash on
