Savory delight: Aromatic Beef Tortilla Pockets with Cheese Galore!

    Ingredients:
    250g ground beef
    1 small onion
    1 small green bell pepper
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    1/2 teaspoon paprika
    1 heaped teaspoon baharat
    3 slices of American cheese
    Ghee or butter to grease the baking dish
    6 small tortillas
    3 eggs
    150g sour cream
    50ml cream
    1/2 teaspoon each of grated nutmeg and black pepper
    90g grated Emmental cheese
    50g mozzarella
    Instructions:
    1. Fry the ground beef in a hot pan without fat. Once the water has evaporated, add the onion, paprika and spices. Sauté until the onion is translucent. Then add 3 slices of American cheese. When the cheese starts to melt, stir to combine with the ground beef and remove from the heat.
    2 Grease an oven dish generously with butter or ghee.
    3. Place a heaped tablespoon of meat in the middle of each tortilla. Then fold the sides inwards to form a small pocket. Place the tortilla pockets in the greased oven dish.
    4. Whisk the cream and sour cream with 3 eggs, a little pepper and a little nutmeg to taste. Then stir in 50g grated Emmental cheese. Pour the mixture over the tortilla pockets, then sprinkle the mozzarella and remaining emmental cheese on top.
    5. Preheat the oven to 200°C/390°F and turn it down to 180°C/350°F as soon as the dish is in the oven. Bake for approx. 25 minutes at top and bottom heat.
