I could see either Silver Dollar City or Dollywood getting a Vekoma Hyper. That would be a great fit at both parks, and the views would be spectacular. I’d also keep an eye on Toverland. They’re not a huge park yet, but they’re expanding and it seems like they want to compete with Efteling and Phantasialand. Fenix is just the beginning. I'm 99% certain that the opening way too late will be Mattel's Twin Mill Racer. They are waiting on the city to tear down the billboard before they can finish constructing the final turn between the 2 loops. I don't see Mattel opening before next fall.
Bold predictions: 1. Both Rapterra and Flash (SFGAdv) have tested this month, so I would expect at least one of them (if not both) to be open when their respective parks open for 2025. 2. Both Wrath of Rakshasa and Siren's Curse will miss their parks' opening days, but both will be open on Memorial Day weekend or 1-2 weeks after (the last Cedar Point coaster to miss Opening Day was Maverick, and that still opened Memorial Day weekend despite having to remove the heartline roll after testing). 3. All new Six Flags coasters will be open on or before July 1st. 4. Switchback from ZDT's (which was advertised for sale at IAAPA) is announced to be getting relocated to one of the smaller Six Flags parks.
5:55 - Twin Mill Racer has been entirely build except for a few sections of track that are currently being blocked by a billboard that still has to be removed since the summer. But the gocart tracks are still under construction. Opening in May here would probably be a bad idea lol. Well... I guess the Barbie beach house is probably gonna be a huge draw for the park, so I could see that. But it starts getting into the 100s here in like April. So by May it's already pretty toasty. We're kinda the opposite of most cities; Now's the season for us to go out and do things, not the summer.
6:42 To be fair, it's also in metro Toronto, which is both a lot further south than most Americans think it is (further south than Portland, if memory serves) and has been having increasingly milder winters since about 2014, oftentimes not really seeing much of a winter until mid to late January. We aren't talking about La Ronde here. :)

Anyways good video and I'm not surprised your six flags america prediction was wrong the dry park will be one if the first to go in my opinion.
I don't understand everyone's obsession with the concept of anniversary coasters. It very rarely happens that a park opens a coaster for a milestone anniversary (40,50,60, etc).
As an Orlando home parker we better get a new thrill coaster in 2026 at SeaWorld. They left us with that pile of scrap Penguin Trek. I would have preferred no coaster over that.
Can you remake the coaster needs series for all 26 Six Flags parks? Now that a lot of parks have received new coasters I’d be interested in your current predictions.
I’m going out on a limb, but TT2 will be ready for opening day and Sirens Curse opens 4th of July weekend; if TT2 isn’t ready on opening day, it should be ready by mid June. I know, I know, I’m being way too positive, it’s just a feeling. I got to ride TT2 during the preview, and it’s GREAT! There is nothing like going up that backward spike, and looking DOWN on Power Tower!
For parks to announce a new coaster in 2025 I think Lagoon has a decent shot given the time since primordial (and they've announced three flat rides for 2025) and prior to that getting fairly regular coasters
In this year’s passholder previews for Kentucky Kingdom, one option included a family launched straddle coaster, so that could be on the cards for 2025 or 2026.
You should add a prediction about Coasters or Rides that will be refurbished (could the other, mostly smaller Accelerator coasters be rebuilt by Intamin or Zamperla?)
not a coaster but a suprice from Intamin. there prototype motion stage Dance Macabre at Efteling is opperating with no problems. I have heard it is preforming realy realy realy well with almost no ride related down time.
Great video! I really enjoyed watching this! Happy Thanksgiving everyone! A question is what coaster will be the Top Thrill 2 of 2025 ? Hopefully no coaster. Maybe Falcons Flight. Hopefully not.
I have a prediction of my own: Tusenfryd will have their 40'th anniversary coming in 2028, so they might unveil their biggest coaster that season. It will make a lot of sense though. Something like the new Vekoma Hyper model would be perfect
The answer is no. In my stupid opinion with Kingda Ka gone the second best coaster in the park is their Batman clone. And the combo of El toro and Batman while fun can’t really compete. Subbing out Batman for Nitro doesn’t change anything as Nitro while good doesn’t stand out in the area kind of like Batman. It’s on par with Steel Force when it runs well and it doesn’t always run well unless it’s cold.
I agree with your predictions, but I leaned towards Falcons Flight than AlpenFury for a very late opening in 2025. I am also predicting the coaster would be like Top Thrill 2 or the Skyline coasters, being plagued with issues. I would not be surprised if Falcons Flight's opening would be delayed to either late 2025 or even 2026 due to mechanical issues.
According to SFOG’s park president, it took 12 weeks longer than they anticipated to get approval in order start construction on GA Surfer. The coaster itself was also not complete when being shipped all the way from Vietnam in which it supposedly came from according to the rumors. But I’m surprised that they acknowledged the reasons why they had to postpone it to 2025 unlike SFGAdv where they didn’t state why chose to push it back to 2025 as well.

Kentucky Kingdom also just recently announced that they are investing $25 million over the next two years, so they might announce a new coaster as part of the investment.
I think tt2 will be fine. It's too good to scrap. Not sure what problems caused it to *really* stop operating, but it ran damn near flawless that last Friday of operation in May (more consistent than i ever saw the original run). I imagine over-engineer some of the hardware (crazy that those existing wheels possibly weren't beef enough...) and redo the seatbacks to add a little more torso support and it'll rank in people's top 5s. Especially with the removal of KK, it's too marketable to give up on.

Keep an eye on MiA too. It’s 70th is in 2026.
Not sure if a 70th anniversary is big enough for a new coaster. Maybe 75
My bold prediction: I have lost glasses and a phone over the last several years on six flags roller coasters. I predict that I will finally get smarter about hanging on to or putting away my crap!
@@priorityrecords1 very very bold indeed
*"Coasters that will announce a new coaster."*
Bold prediction that the first SF/CF park to be sold will be Magic Mountain to become Dollywood West.
I doubt it. Six Flags tried it once back in 2006 and later kept the park because of how much money there were making from selling Season Passes at that park.
Fiesta needs something soon. We are itching for something good
"Mild like Incredicoaster"
We're talking about a Mack dueling thrill coaster right off the coattails of Voltron and Hyperia with a dozen airtime moments. There's no way it lands anywhere outside the top 3 coasters in Florida, maybe top 5 if you wanna be pessemistic.
I hope you're right
I love Phoenix, but I just don't get why it keeps winning BEST. Top five or ten absolutely, but BEST?
