They should know things about their history and the home of their parents because without that they don’t know themselves as a people. You have to instill knowledge and pride in your children. Europeans, Asians, Middle Easter they don’t play when it comes to teaching the children about who they are and their language as well as traditions etc. it’s good for them especially when living in a a European country where you can lose yourself trying to fit into the culture of the majority. It also helps increase self esteem and self love.
