If you have any minimalist shopping tips of your own, share them down below 🥰👇🏼 And here are the two videos I mentioned 1. how to create a capsule wardrobe wishlist: ruclips.net/video/vfFT9jxr5uU/видео.htmlsi=w4GSSbRfIz5Ld2A6 2. how to declutter your closet and create a "no" list: ruclips.net/video/FYLR1_XlmGg/видео.htmlsi=TC194GnwuvewtYMb
As usual you provided us with practical, concrete tips. I have been thinking about this video all day. I have decided to rewrite my wish list, do 1-2 months of no buying, and then do another declutter before I resume shopping using your tips. Thank you!
"If it's not a 10, don't bargain." ? New subscriber here, and I love love LOOOVE your personality. You are a ray of sun shine, and you remind me sooo much of a friend of mine, who moved away.
I have a hard time thinking of basics as tens. I rarely think anything is a ten unfortunately. I wish no could be excited about clothes, but never feel really beautiful in anything. But I do like your tips and am trying to shop more consciously. Thank you.
Just have one scale for basics and one for other items (“interest pieces”?). On the basic scale, if a t-shirt, for example, says “yes” to every question - does it fit perfectly (length, neckline, waist, sleeves)? Does the fabric, cut and colour suit my personal style? Do I need it? If yes to all then it’s a 10, even when it’s just a basic, I think.
I used to feel that way about Christmas decoration, but then I ended up finding some cute stuff at a charity shop and Chickedee (a shop) and I realised it had just been a matter of finding the style that I really liked. Maybe this could be the same for you and your clothes? Have you tried a lot of different styles and colours etc.? But on the other hand I hope it’s a condolence that you at least won’t be drawn to buying stuff you don’t need just because you’re so excited by it (I hope?).
Kim I really really really obsessed with your videos so so so much and your hairs are looking so so pretty and silky and I wish you have a wonderful wonderful weekend🥹🥹🩷🩷🌸
Thank you! 😍 I wear pretty much everything, from wool, cashmere, silk, cotton to nylon, polyester, modal etc. Majority of my items are actually a mixture of natural and synthetic materials, because this way I feel I get the best of both worlds 😊
I understand your point about not buying duplicates in the sense of not carelessly re-buying the things you already have. However, I do deliberately and thoughtfully buy duplicates of things if they fit me amazingly well (which is a rare event) and they're going to get a lot of use. For example, I found the perfect scoop neck t-shirt in a colour I wear a lot, so I bought three of them. I bought three of the same perfect linen shirt and I wear those all summer. My jeans are all the same size and style from one store, just different colours. This way, my wardrobe is simple, but to my taste, and I can recreate my favourite outfits often without constant laundry. P.S. Your dog is adorable :)
I do believe it's a personal thing because I know some people successfully buy duplicates and they love that, but for me, it just never worked, I like variety too much 😍 But like you if I find something I really love, I do buy it in different colours, but for me that doesn't count as a duplicate since the colour is not the same 🥰 Thanks for sharing!
How do you focus only on what’s on your wish list? I still get sidetracked and see the beautiful stuff that’s on offer and I form attachments or maybe it’s desire and I JUST WANNA BUY THEM SO BADLY. Thanks. P.S. I really like this video.
Because I make a wish list that excites me, and I don't really limit myself, that's why I find it very easy 🥰 And like I mentioned before in my other videos, I started linking pain to bad purchases so now I genuinely won't to avoid making mistakes, that's why I always ask the right questions when necessary 😊 I'm glad you enjoyed it! ❤️

If it's not a 10, think again! If you have to think again, it's not a 10.
Oh, I love these so much!! 😉
This is really good.
When in doubt go without )

Haha, yesss! 😉😘

If it’s not a ten, we don’t spend!
Uuu, love this!! 😉😍
If it's a 9 I ask me if I can make it a ten. For example with tailoring. If I can, I buy it. If I can't, I leave it.
Good point, I do that too! 🥰
If it's not a ten, just abandon! 😂
Haha, yes!! 🤣😉
Great and informative video
I really enjoyed the tips you share, thank you soo much 😘
Yay, I'm glad you liked it!
