Took me back to childhood. Our summer holiday every year was two weeks on the Ouse / Cam. We hired boats mostly from Earith and once from Ely. Both yards long gone, and I’ve been in Canada for nearly 30 years but I always loved it. I have a watercolour of Stretham Old Engine on my wall.
This is a great watch. I have nothing against narrow boats yet there seems to be loads of them now on the Great Ouse. Having said that, a super video and I enjoyed it.
+Andrew Holloway Thank you for your comment. It is amazing just how many narrow boats are on the river. In Saint Ives, where we're based, there aren't as many. As you get further down Ely way, there seem to be a lot more. Unsure why... :)

Nicely done 👍
Really great to watch :)

Hi. Great video. Interested to know what boat it was for airdraft height!
Same here!
