There are two kinds of levees: those that have failed and those that haven’t failed yet.

The levee did fail in the early 1970s. I recall walking onto the old Antioch draw bridge. It was raised so ships could continue along the river. No traffic could pass for a few months, as I recall.

Gavin knew knew these levees situation from a few years back this is always been a concern. They’ve always should be maintained! Gavin Newsom is the governor and to call this A state of emergency is a cop out when it should’ve been taken care of continuously so it doesn’t have to wait until something. Serious happens.! They knew and they did nothing.!!!!

      God bless your common sense❤
This should have been addressed immediately after the January February flooding. The reason that the Governor hasn't called the army corps of engineers is that it's detrimental to his sparkling sheen. The water district lacks the workforce to combat this.
      Call the Army Corps. Idiots❤❤❤

      @ thank you
Gavin Newson loves emergencies and disasters because it brings money to him so he can redirect the funding and silver line his pocket! he invents an ER that he has put on the back burner! He’s a poor governor and that’s an understatement! .
Take the wildfires for example he was given funding to manage the the forest to redirects that funding.. he took the money away from the people which the funding was to go to to help them cut down dead trees in high fire areas, THEN opened up a campsite with campfires along the American river of the north Fork in El Dorado and Placer County. It is called the asra project. He literally eminent domain people’s property for his project that created more fires. All the wild people in foothill areas can’t get insurance, and the forest is laden with dead trees.! And no funding to remove them or clean them up he lined his pockets! that funding WAS reverted it to free healthcare to those who came across the border illegally WHILE WE HAVE VETERANS WHO ARE HOMELESS! now business owners are having to pay to the bill for his mismanagement of the Covid funding that too was redirected!
no one has ever truly audited Gavin Newsom no one! to find out where he has spent this money from disaster to disaster to disaster. He has received relief funding, and yet California is so far in the hole that no one can get out of this debt. Our roads are pitted with potholes yet we pay high gas tax & dmv and a portion was supposed to go to filling the potholes yet they do not. It’s all a scam and he takes a situation that should’ve been addressed far before any disaster ever happened and calls it an emergency so he can get money that will never go to the emergency It was meant to! He was taught this by aunt Nancy Pelosi the master con artist!

strange to think how i live just several miles from a dam yet my house is practically impossible to flood even if the dam burst because it's on high ground, technically driveway leads down to house but right behind house is huuuuuuuuuuge hill going downnnnnnnnnnnnn for miles until it crossses multiple lots, roads and ends up in the lake,so any excess water just reteurns to water, nothing short of some strange unseen water disaster I'm having an issue with, maybe some type of atmospheric "river" that carries a flash flood literally over only me....i guess maybe that would be enough.... and idk if that's even possible, sounds like Hollywood, nature sweeps through, it doesn't target.
