The best way to have a sustainable wardrobe is to make use of all you have until it falls apart. I also started to wash more by hand and dry laundry natural, everything lasts more, even if it's from a fast fashion brand. I declutter only when I am sure that it will not fit me anymore. My body changed a lot after the second child.

Your current style likes follows todays trends; getting rid of timed trendy purchases makes sense, but it isnt revolutionary. Sounds like youre trying to pivot into minimalism and a capsule wardrobe which has been trending for years now.
i'm not pivoting into minimalism. i don't believe in labels. i'm simply being more mindful of the things i bring into my life and how they align with my true self

Are you decluttering for views, or are you decluttering because you realised just how incredible simple, slow, minimalist living actually is? Also, you can be a minimalist and still own expensive or colourful pieces and lots of something but very little or nothing in other areas. I own one shampoo but have lots of variety in my closet. I don't own any cushions but have 4 pillows on my bed. I don't own any decor but have 3 mirrors. Etc.
