Honestly, what impresses me the most with Belle's voice is not even the fact that she can hit these notes; it's the fact that she can hit these notes with such EASE. Like she makes it look so EASY. And if this is how she sounds now at 19, just IMAGINE what her voice is gonna sound like at 25 or 30. Like wtf.
The ease comes from her good mixed technique. She can go high and still sound powerful but with ease because she doesn't go full belt with her chest, but rather with her mix She's pretty much got complete package for vocal already in her pocket at 19 yrs old
@Tripleknews aespa and red velvet are great singers but they all have similar techniques so they kinda all sound similar and Ive is not even that good, I don't hate I've love their music but they use too much autotune and when they sing live I can hear the struggle in their voices even when they're just standing 😭
While a lot of groups have a designated member to belt a high note somewhere around the bridge/last chorus of their songs, Belle differs due to how distinct and controlled her vibrato is at that range. A straight belt is easy honestly, like anyone could just scream their hearts out. But to have that vibrato accompany the belt really emphasizes how much control she has over her voice and how comfortable she is in that range.
She was SM trainee after all. Nothing against SM, but Im actually glad that she’s with KIOF witht their mature concept and her exploring herself more as an artist rather than just an idol

I just got here after her voice cracked at encore. I feel bad how she strained her voice so much. I think it was because the let her sing more live high note G notes during born to be XX. She start singing on lypsinc alot during Sticky and yeah happened her voice cracked during live encore. I hope the management taking care of her vocal from now on.
