The entire truck is Isuzu. Chevy contracted Isuzu to produce the Luv truck and put Chevrolet badges all over it.

It was all about badge engineering. The gas crisis made it happen. It took Chevy 10 years to roll out the S-10. It takes a SBC to make it a Chevy in my book.
