It should not be an excuse, but I think most service workers are exhausted and often treated badly, that's how their exhausted soul responds to people. The staff from these shops in Camel Paint Building usually meet customers who kind of know the place and treat it like a treasure hunt in a less known space, so somehow, both the customers and staff are much nicer. I hope you meet some nice people in Hong Kong, they are around!
@@beacherry We will be back in 2 or 3 years. Need to check if we can get around more easily with a baby and kid of 3+ (now 18 months). My wife couldnt stand the heat a few weeks ago and pregnancy hormones didn't really help :-( together with a crying and screaming toddler in MTR. The mei foo interchange station was too much for them (tsuen wan - tuen ma line)
@@143ferdinand hi Thanks for watching! It is Camel Paint Building Block 3, 60 Hoi Yuen Rdad. You can get off at Kwun Tong Station, it’s around 5 mins walk :)
I agree on some impolites.. thanks for showing us this area will visit soon

I’m new subscriber, you two were so cute ☺️
Hi Karen, thanks for watching ☺️ what are you interested to see?
My mum used to go here for clothes, and Diamond Hill too in the 80s!
@@agymayachelonia8381 hi there! Thanks for watching. Where did she go in Diamond Hill? Maybe I can visit!
@@beacherry I'll have to check with her.... it was so long ago! I remember tagging along as a kid, but my memory is a blur LOL😆
@@agymayachelonia8381thanks for sharing this memory with us!
omg, I wish I saw this earlier. I left HK a few days ago...
Now you have an other excuse! I plan to cover these places which aren’t usually covered in travel magazines

It’s called Camel Paint Building!

Don't go to Yat Lok Stanley Street for Roast goose, the staff 100% rude and tell you get out and coerce you to buy the more expensive dishes
opsss, there are a lot of great, though not famous places around town! Do you have your favourite shop?
Hi can you give which exit from mtr and directions to that area please? Thnx
Hi It's Kwun Tong Station (subway) exit B1. Look up Camel Buildling :)
@beacherry thank you
