Because she was in group 10 (tee’d off at 9:15a) and was finishing by the time GC came on air. If her birdies on 14 & 15 weren’t anything special, then it wasn’t a priority.
Lpga wonders about their coverage. When we get 5 minutes of Nelly approach shots, then a bit of Lexy, oh and 2 shot of Charley, ffs guys. There are heaps of players out there. Show them
what's with these highlights? of the 5 players tied for 4th, I saw a lot of Korda, one shot of Ronnie Yin, but nothing of Jeeno, Furue or Amy Yang? And what's with Lexi Thompson? She down 21st in the leaderboard!! Why is she shown so much?
Lexi and Nelly were in the same featured group, so the ESPN+ cameras following Nelly in the morning were already in place to shoot Lexi as well. Golf Channel coverage starts at 5:33
The broadcast times were 2-5pm. Holes 7-18 had tower cameras. Group 16 was on 7 green at 12:10pm approximately when GC started to get in position for the broadcast. This puts Thitikul around 11. She only had 2 birdies at 14 & 15. Furue would have been at 6ish, she had 5 birdies after 7. Yang had 4. If they weren’t long shots I doubt they were shown.
From 5:33 to 6:18 are the highlights captured from 12:15pm to 1:45pm. At 6:18, note the leaderboard. Thitikul and R. Yin have finished. They must not have had any note-worthy highlights in the back 9 to show.
I love watching Lexi and Nelly play, but my favorites are Jeeno and Ronnie. With the superbowl and World Series, you get to see the entire event on tv if you can’t show up in person. Golf has to find a fix for this, not sure how they would do it. Be a long 10 hour show I suppose. Easy for us, as we could zip through to watch our favorite players, but it would be nasty on the filming crews and announcers.
Really need to do more work on these highlights. Order of shots and spread of players.

The wind gusts made their presence known as they tripped up many in the afternoon groups.
how is jeeno never in any videos despite always being up in the top 10

What was the ruling on the Lydia golf bag incident?
Accidental, no penalty.

Not to mention that this might be Lexi’s last tournament…

I am officially sick of Nelly. No fault of hers. It's the bad coverage. Fast forward
