Now you've got something to refer people to when they ask about your wash! I am surprised you don't have a dialled in ratio for paint/water given how many times you must have made this though. Setting the cup of 500ml water on a cheap digital scale and adding paint until you get the consistency you like and noting how many grams of paint it was would mean you could then always get the same result.
