- Quick and easy and so delicious, trail tacos are perfect for lunch on our trail rides. We show an improved method for carrying this take-off on "walking tacos" that works much better on bumpy trails.

If you are wanting on the go food, you could also look at wraps. There are so many different flavor combinations you can do with a wrap and they can be hot or cold. Mom and I use a lot of wraps when we travel. Our favorite is using cream cheese, salami, and Greek pepperoncini. We've also done pizza ones, chicken salad, tacos and burritos, caprese, Greek, BLT - the possibilities are endless
I think these Trail Tacos 🌮 would be good in a wrap (or two). I've seen low-carb/keto wraps if you want to watch carbs.

I'm really enjoying your trail food videos, we own a 350 acre farm that we as retired people get to spend a lot of time down there riding our ATV's and I try not to have to spend a lot of my time cooking. Easy foods like you've been showing has really been a great help. Thank you

If you wanted guacamole, you can buy it in portion container packs at Costco. It has a decent shelf life and keeps the guac from browning.
I buy these when they are on sale, and stick them in the freezer. That way I always have avocado, while I am waitng on avocado's to ripen.

I've seen the 2-ounce containers (8-pack?) but thought it was just avocado 🥑. I'll have to double-check. Ready-made guacamole in individual snack sizes (can you say portion control? 😂) would be great!

I volunteer with kids aged 12-18 and we do something similar. Our group doesn’t have a lot of money so we buy the big bags of Doritos and divide them up into ziploc bags. The kids then put their toppings in the bags then shake the bags to make sure everything is coated with salsa and sour cream. They love the taco in a bags and so do I.

Such a great idea! And reusable containers! You remind me of a healthful snack I used to make… In a large bowl combine: 1 can (or homemade) black beans, rinsed, one jar salsa, one can (or cup) corn, chopped red pepper. Use as dip for large corn chips. I usually serve with guacamole and plain Greek yogurt (more nutrition, less fat). Have spoons for ladling onto the chips. It was a great snack or lunch for hungry teens - so much better than the fast food they were used to.

Great video and a great idea too perfect for days out, pick nicks, trail meals… we also go with our jeep on trails… this is a perfect idea… or if you want to prepare your lunch ahead of time… it would be great for us as we are renovating and when lunchtime comes… my husband asks… what’s for lunch? 😅 We will need to buy another freezer as our two fridges/freezers are full and the big freezer too… thank you again. I love those containers! I will check to see if you have a link. 😊
Walking banana pudding is good too!!! Snack size nilla wafers or other cookie. Snack vanilla pudding, whip cream and banana slices.

The kids' school called them, Taco in a bag." They were SO popular But, that was 15 years ago when bags were better made.

Looks good when you put the lid on looks like a lot of space until the top so if lunch box got tipped too ingredients would spill can you flip or drop and all ingredients stay seperate?
The lit fits tightly over the inner top tray so the food doesn't mingle if the container gets dropped.
It is a variation of a "Frito Pie".
