Today we went to the wet market to compare the prices to the last grocery video we did. We ended up getting a lot more from the wet market for a fraction of the price. We took all the fresh food home and my Filipina girlfriend cooked some local dishes and then later on in the evening we went to try the famous Filipino burgers establishment Angles burger

Liza n I went to Agora market one early Sunday morning and the market was fully packed buying all types of meat and fish n various fresh vegetables here in San Francisco on Camotes Island n soo many friendly locals than normal. But I'm just a friendly bloke n will chat with the locals anywhere Tom and Lay. Lami foods Lay cooked. 😋
Home cooked food is the best. You know that the ingredients are fresh, more portions and clean. They'll check Lay's income and status.

Prices differs on the brand.. Of course prices at wet market are much cheaper than at the supermarket. Try to go to landers and compare prices with sm supermarket or prices at Robinson.... Prices of burger differs on the brand and they all. Have different tastes 😅

I like Lay very much. Down to earth and calm and has humour etc…. However I don’t think that Tom and the prior one were as good a match as these two. I am not knocking the other one ( I watch her channel too). It’s just the fit of these two seems better

At least in Manila, I can walk around and walk home from work even at 1AM, without having to worry about anything. Never felt unsafe as a girl.

I went home early in the morning alone about 1am 3am like that because my work is far away but nothing bad happened to me..but if you are foreigner much better you need someone to guide you like filipino because is dangerous for you to being alone in manila..😊

7:24 "pandesal" (Philippines) or "Pan De Sal" (Spanish) is a sweet bread, but originally it wasn't sweet. The Spanish came up with that bread, but due to a multitude of reasons, scarcity of original ingredients being one of them, the recipe was altered and made a little sweet. In Spanish, Pan = bread, de = of, and Sal = salt. "Bread of Salt". The name should be changed to "Pan de azucar"(Spanish), "Pan dulce"(Spanish), "Panmatamis"(Filipino) or something else. Just like my Spanish language, Filipinos have messed up everything we gave them. Thank you Filipinos! Thank you!🙂

Tom to be fair every Country has it's bad places to be. Back when I was in college I use to hitch hike home on the weekends. Oh I can tell you many stories about things I have done. Anyways I was thumbing a ride with a friend that was going the same way and a couple priest pulled over. They asked how far I was headed. I told them and as they were driving they were hinting they wanted to have some pleasure. the friend I was with was scared and he said man they are going to kill us. I pulled out my knife and said nah . I let the Priest know I was not the guy they wish to play with and they pulled over and said they didn't want any trouble . We got out and watched them drive off. When the weekend was over I was thumbing back to college and when I got there the friend that was with me had already told everyone in the college what happen to us.

I live in the United States and my fiance tried to get a Visa 5 months ago and was turned down at the office... We had everything bank statements everything and they didn't even look at her they denied her immediately and we don't know why

13:48 As a person who has been in he food industry for a long time and knew a healthy person who died due to a foodborne disease, this place looks clean and all, but still I wouldn't recommend eating at a place where those handling/cooking the food don't use gloves. Wearing gloves is not 100% b.proof, but the chances of getting a dangerous foodborne disease are reduced.
Be careful with Filipino street food vendors. There is no such a thing as a health inspector inspecting these food business in most places. Most Filipinos can't afford any type of soap, so there is a culture of not washing their hands after going number 1 or 2. That should tell you all you need to know.
