I live in a Queen Anne Victorian built in 1887 by Eustis and Adeline Appleton, both spirits are still here, but they are not bothersome as long as I announce, "I'm home Adeline" or "Goodnight Adeline", when I forget she makes a darn nuisance of herself during the night with loud noises, Eustis on the other hand is here in mostly scents, a boozy cigar tobacco smell mixed with 4711 cologne. I know its 4711 cologne, it took years, but I opened an old bottle of it in an antique store and there it was!! the smell of when Eustis is near. There was one obnoxious, bothersome, unpleasant spirit here in the beginning, I believe it was their son, who was quite the unscrupulous man when alive.. but it has since been banished to a small corner of the basement with sweetgrass, a large chunk of Galena and black salt, and a yearly opened, complimentary bottle of whiskey, set on the floor in his space, keeps him there quite well..lol
