- In my last video, I described my fear and anxiety as I thought I might be headed towards another cancer recurrence.
In this one, I tell you the PET scan results and what they might mean - specifically as it relates to my birthday, my overall health, and what 2024 might look like for a stage 4 metastatic melanoma patient.
My main goal in making these cancer vlogs has been to help myself with mental health-related issues personally, but also to share my experience so that cancer patients and their loved ones can relate.

Yours is one of the happier cancer stories of 2023. So glad for you and wishing you a cancer-free life into the unforeseeable future.
I keep reminding myself that this is not necessarily the expectation or norm, and that I have to be sensitive of the situation both for myself and others. But I sure do hope it continues to be a happy story!
Your story is amazing and needs to be out there to give people hope.
Excellent news! Plus, you look so much better and relaxed. Ever had a colonoscopy? By far the worst part is the prep. I've had polyps, so I have to do it every 5 years. Next one is 1/8, and it will also mark the end of 5 years since diagnosis. If clear (of cancer), I can say (knock wood) "cured."

Happy birthday! Colonoscopy is nothing compared to chemo or human meta-pneumovirus 2 months after chemo! Congratulations on your PET scan results!
Thanks! Yeah, I'm not worried about the colonoscopy - it's hard to phase me medically at this point. I've had a needle biopsy done with the anesthesia not working well... it's not going to be worse than that 😂

I have been diagnosed with osteosarcoma and wondering if you could help me get an insight on whether you made any diet changes in your fight againt cancer. Thank you
Hey, thanks! I didn't really make any significant change to my diet outside of not drinking alcohol during treatment (and I don't drink much these days anyway). My diet is relatively clean, but I'm not very strict. I eat lots of whole foods, hydrate a ton, and exercise every day, so I don't view eating some pizza or candy every now and then as risky. I would talk to your doctor and maybe a nutritionist about their opinion, though :)
